Kung Jung Korean Restaurant is still one of our favourite spots in KL for good Korean BBQ. Sure the prices might be higher than peers – but this is more than justified by the quality and service.
The restaurant itself feels like a hotel breakfast room – in fact, I think it is – clinical, but not unpleasant. Staff were good, if overworked, with only one poor lady covering the outdoor section where we sat. Overall, everyone agreed that the food was quite good, but just quite a bit more expensive than it justified.
From 4th to 29th April 2022, the Hotel proudly features “From Dapur Binjai” buffet which offers a variety of childhood recipes, tempting local cuisines, as well as dedicated live cooking stations where guests can watch their favorite dishes getting prepared by 10Binjai’s professional Chefs…
Kung Jung offers both BBQ and plated dishes. The Charbroiled Fresh Spare Ribs (생갈비구이) for RM88 is excellent – high quality fresh meat with some lovely marbling. It was cooked perfectly tender and goes very well with the sauces.
Head over to 10 Binjai Restaurant to try these new dishes

My favourite of the Korean experience was a special soju, only (apparently) available at Kung Jung. The smoothness of this soju; its light flavour and aroma, and ease of drinking was marvellous. Consider it the champagne of soju – you’ve hit the motherload enjoying this one
Reasons to visit: authentic Korean cuisine, fresh ingredients, attentive service
Overall, we do enjoyed this place very much. I will not hesitate to invite my Muslim friends when I have another school gathering again.
