The food was at most - average, at least it was for me, knowing that they can definitely do better. Having said that, the experience was not really about the food, but more of having dinner, in the air. As such, I wouldn't place such high expectations on the food served.

Chicken @ RM 45, add on with bentong ginger and lotus crips. As for this dish, I have no idea what to say as for us being local, we had too much street food and I felt that I am just eating “atas” Hainanese Chicken. not much twist of it. Too normal for my liking even knowing the meat is sous vide.

One of the signature (and popular) dishes here is the Nasi Ayam (RM55), aka chicken rice. Guests can opt for either roasted or poached chicken. We went for the roasted chicken and I was impressed by the generous portion that arrived. Tastewise, the chicken was tender and comes with three different dipping sauce - chilli, ginger and sweet soy sauce. The rice was pretty good too, as it was fragrant and flavorful. Overall, a pretty authentic rendition of a Malaysian favourite.

Pad Thai with Chicken, 24 ringgit. I had the Chicken Pad Thai which came in a generous portion and since I was hungry, this suited me just fine. I liked how they provided me with quite a bit of crushed peanuts, lots of eateries provide barely enough. Here, it was enough to be spread everywhere. There was quite a bit of chicken meat, lightly fried in thin batter. I usually like my dishes spicy, so I added in the chili flakes and once everything is mixed, it was yummy!

The sandwiches were delicious. You can choose your spice level – mild, normal or spicy. I opted for spicy. Part of it was the heat and the other part was pure spices, a burst of flavors. My favorite dish here at Joloko was the Caribbean goat curry (RM35), which is available from Fridays to Sundays only. Insanely good, this Haitian-based dish is made using tomatoes, garlic, potato, chillies and onions and cooked until the meat is tender and the curry is thick. The sauce is so flavorful, with heat from the chillies which got our tastebuds tingling with joy.

Also, I've noticed their waitresses are not very well-versed with what they are serving. Unfortunately we were there in group of 5 so we can't reserve the bar.
