Bedok Marketplace review
Indulge in the best omakase experience on the East Coast at The Social Outcast, Katong. Immerse your palate in BBQ Wagyu, King Crab, Octo
I enjoyed my dining experience at The Social Outcast, and my word of advice is to head here without any expectations as it does operate quite differently as most restaurants, from the moment you stepped in, to the way the menu is being designed and presented. At least for what I had, the wagyu omakase menu would not disappoint.
The burger was nice as before. The bun was soft, patty was of a coarse mince and nicely grilled and juicy, the caramelised onions and mushrooms were sweet and umami, and added further moistness to the whole package. The burger was just short of smoky, but was really good.
Tradition runs deep in Wanton Noodle House’s wanton mee family recipe. They also offer a variety of dishes like braised pork and carrot cake! Read more.
Really springy yet biteable noodles, tasty savoury and fragrant brown sauce, plump and tasty wantons and crispy and solidly fried wantons. A bit old school yet with really flavourful sauce.
Cosy little eatery that serves very good wanton mee with a selection of excellent sides! I
Tuck into hearty bowls of al dente mee pok tossed in their house-made chilli and pair them with their savoury dumpling soup! Read more.
Similar to my review of Ah Lim, it is a definite yes for Lau Lim too. You may be curious on what is my take of who does a better noodle. My simple answer is, Lau Lim. Something about Lau Lim’s signature chilli sauce which makes me crave for it more.
Bedok Marketplace was a cracking dinner this day. Social Outcast, Burning Oaks, and The Naughty Chef be proud guys. The food is exceptional that you are
Orders are limited, and it’s best to pre-order by sending a message to The Burning Oak on their Facebook page or WhatsApp.
While the dim sum here didn’t exactly appeal to us, Enak Enak Hong Kong Tea House kept its dim sum prices affordably and they are open until late.
While the dim sum here did not thoroughly appeal to our tastebuds, we still recommend trying a dish or two, especially if you’re in the vicinity at 3am in the morning.
The portions and pricing are too pricy to determine such a bowl of Bah Chor Mee. Although Lau Lim has its own style in the bowl of bah chor mee, we can better portions and value worth the money else where.
I must say this one at Simpang Bedok is actually quite good.
most importantly ckt very tasty & sweet not just black sauce sweetness..
Hill Street Fried Kway Teow 禧街炒粿條 at Bedok South Market & Food Centre certainly has its fans, and is probably the top choice for many.
Crispy Prata that is different from the others.
The pieces of prata was impressive to be as they were very crispy like biscuit at its edge, yet maintaining the fluffy portion in the middle. The curry was nicely prepared.
Overall, this is a good plate of hokkien prawn mee. I am glad that my trip to the far East was not wasted. I really enjoy the plate of wet and flavoursome hokkien prawn mee.
If you are looking to satisfy your dim sum cravings or simply happen to be in the area, do drop by Tang Tea House and give them a try!
If the seafood version doesn’t quite hit the spot for you, then do what I did and ask for the plain old bak chor mee. I think you will agree with me that it is actually quite shiok!
1 review of Yong He Bak Chor Seafood Noodles "I'm so glad this opened. This is serious hawker food! From the presentation, you can see that they really really care-- AND YOU CAN TASTE IT! Best seafood bak chor mee, and it is 2 blocks away from my…
I’ll definitely be back to try their dessert pizza, the Art of War, which Lionel highly recommends.
Mr Joe was friendly and welcoming. It's tough not to make a return especially when the food is good. I will be back for other dishes.
their new Lucky Clover is a puff pastry that pairs savoury bacon with garlic and spring onion for added fragrance.
Pâtisserie CLÉ is perhaps best known for its Tart Gift Box with a choice of eight tarts and you have to try the signature Orh Blanc Tart which is an interesting fusion of the French Mont Blanc dessert and the local orh nee flavour.
Ever since I scrapped my car, I don’t travel that much for food and it’s thanks to the Great Kon that we got to check out Simpang Bedok rece...
We definitely could taste the passion and dedication that goes into the food!
Easties, you no longer have to travel to Telok Blangah to get your mee hoon kueh. Masterchef finalist, Aaron Wong’s new outlet is in Bedok!
Having the Mee goreng here at Suka Ramai Mama Power. I was intrigued when they claimed that they have the best mee goreng in Singapore on their Facebook. This kind of mee goreng combo is kind of similar to Adam's delight. The nearest MRT station is at Telok Blangah mrt station.
Overall, the dish was really good, actually it’s one of the best fried oysters I’ve had, and also one of the rare places where I like the batter more than the oysters.
