Grilled Beef in Betal Leaves is an uncommon dish... minced Beef wrapped in Betel Leaves and grilled to perfection, served with Vermicelli Noodles and Vietnamese dips. D'Viet House served it in a creative way- by way of Vietnamese Spring Rolls. The fun of eating this dish is that you will need to wrap it yourself. The texture of the Betel Leaf-wrap was good either- meaty, firm and not overly dry. The flavor combo was of course, delicious in its own way.
Overall, dining here is nice, the environment is nice, service is good and food serving is fast too. Most of the food is tasty, some is average and there is nothing bad to complain about. Will definitely come back here next time to try out their different food from the menu.

De Pauh Garden is a strategically located restaurant in Permatang Pauh next to Bandar Perda. A couple of places of interests nearby include the Politeknik Seberang Perai, MPSP office and UiTM Penang. So it’s no wonder they are a popular venue for students, families and government officers to have a meal. Their vast menu offers everything from nasi campur to crowd favorites like fried chicken, burger, Western food and other local rice and noodle dishes. Among all, the claypot fish head curry is a must try especially for first timers.
Built on a 1.2 hectare of land, De Pauh Garden is undeniably one of the largest restaurants in Penang; the name has earned its reputation since its opening at 2012. It is well known for its myriad of offering that includes local Malay food, Western food, Thai food with a few types of Indonesian cuisine. The huge space in De Pauh Garden is suitable to be used for occasions and events; the restaurant has hosted wedding dinners as well as other celebrations that could fit a maximum capacity of 550 diners at the same time. It does catering as well and has been offering their services to bodies like MPSP and UiTM Penang. Some of their signature dishes are Indonesian Nasi Campur, Curry Fish Head, Satay etc; all are priced reasonably and not grueling to the wallet. If you are stopping by for their lunch, you can sample divine Indonesian favorites and an array of the regulars' favorites in their Nasi Campur fare .The Indonesian-influenced Nasi Campur is available daily from 10:30 am to 3 pm, while the ala-carte menu is available from 3 pm onward and full menu will be available throughout dinner.
Hakka Lei Cha is my personal favorite, it is a bowl of rice with mixture of many different vegetables. Even the soup itself is made from a blend of many different vegetables. So how do you eat this Hakka Lei Cha, what i usually do it to pour the entire bowl of soup onto the bowl of rice and mix the rice together with the soup. If you are not a fan of vegetables, then this Hakka Lei Cha is not suitable for you as it will has a very strong taste of vegetables. For me, this is tasty !

OneDeLand (又一城) serve variety of food ranging from noodles to rice. The food here is nice and the price is still manageable.
The Sour and Spicy Fish Noodle Soup tastes sour, spicy but appetizing. The fish fillets are fresh and juicy tender. The soup is not too spicy nor sour so we can taste the freshness of the fish.
The signature here beside Clear Fish Noodle (Bee Hoon) Soup, Sour Fish Noodle (Bee Hoon) Soup and Fishmaw Soup, the home made free range egg kaya here also rich and smooth. The Sour and Spicy Fish Noodle Soup tastes sour, spicy but appetizing. The fish fillets are fresh and juicy tender. The soup is not too spicy nor sour so we can taste the freshness of the fish. The Clear Fish Noodle Soup is packed with fresh fish aroma as it is cooked with fish maw for long hours, that's why the taste is refreshing and flavorful.

The octopus 'tu bo sui' here is bouncy and juicy in texture served with just a simple soy sauce and deep-fried garlic. On top of that there, dinners can get their fresh seafood from the wet market nearby while letting the stall owner cook instead. The steamed prawns with soy sauce and the golden pomfret with soy paste are also great delicacies as the ingredients are made fresh. This is a great place for those that love fresh or catch of the day.
During my visit, i tried their Pearl Sugar Croissant, Double Fantasy Puff and Corone Pie. The food i tried here is tasty, love them all.
Their mushroom soup also super excellent.
Nothing fancy about this Spaghetti Bolognese actually, the taste is right, the Spaghetti is well cooked but the one thing that i like is the Cheese which is added to the Spaghetti Bolognese !

Truly a posh dining experience, the newly opened Stone Nine Hot Pot by Jiro Shabu redefines the classic way of enjoying Steamboat/ Hotpot. Not only does the place introduce personal pot, the interior decor strives to take your breath away. The restaurant covered in shades of wood exudes a sense of tranquility while the dining utensils promote elegance and sophistication. We did not expect the price points to be low, given the upscale interior decor. As expected, the price tags are hefty- expect to spend at least Rm 40-50 per person here, with the cheapest beverage (Green Tea) priced at Rm 5 (refillable). The dining experience however, is exclusive. Everyone gets to savor his/her own Hotpot and the ingredients are impressively fresh; at least... the prices are well-justified. Stone Nine Hot Pot by Jiro Shabu is right next to Citibank Malaysia, at Auto City, Bukit Mertajam.
On the move to upgrade its menu, Seafood Pasta de Pumpkin is one of the newly introduced items. Inspired by the cafe's signature Pumpkin Pot, the dish is now served with a halved Pumpkin and Cream-based Pasta with heaps of Seafood. To increase its dimension, the Chef recommends to top it off with a dash of Chili Oil... for the mild, addictive Chili kick. Poultry lovers would be glad to know that Texas BBQ Half Roasted Chicken comes in a generous portion, the half-bird Chicken would satisfy any big eaters. The Roasted Chicken is then slathered with a thick, rich but smoky-sweet BBQ sauce. To top it up, the dish is served with creamy Mashed Potato and crunchy Greens.
It is also worthwhile to mention that Pony Tale's menu is entirely pork-free.
