Coffee is average, cakes are nice, tarts are acceptable but the cannoli is really too hard.
Chocolate Ganache Tart is quite compact, and the pastry feels like cookies. Taste wise is pretty good, but it is pretty hard to dismantle. The truffle Cream Cheese bagel is pretty big and soft,..

Good food, big portion. Get crowded on the weekend with queues, come early.
Overall, CC by Mel offers a great selection of food and drinks and we really enjoyed our Ebi Nori. While the food selection is on the pricier side – we thought it was justified by the creativity, decent portion, and quality of ingredients.
We ordered an extra side dish of roast pork (siew yuk) and char siu. The char siu is almost melt in the mouth while the siew yuk is tender but the skin is not crispy. It will be perfect if the siew yuk skin is crispy so that is a little let down. We went there for early dinner and probably that is the reason.
The potato bun so so, drink is okay. Very crowded, most seems to come for the Wantan Noodles.
I love the Custard Bun because I prefer the sugar-dusted sweet on top of the bun. You will be impressed by the beautifully fresh baked cream within, which tastes like egg yolk!
Generally, Kwong Wah wins on all counts as it has tasty snacks for brekkie, tea or larger portions for those looking for main meals. Well, almost, as I wish it served hot drinks, even if it’s Chinese tea, as you need more than ice to wash down the food, and mineral water is no fun. Definitely worth a second visit, and more…
This place is quite hidden in a certain corner, so fairly impossible to bump into by chance. Environment is nice, service is good, coffee is okay.
This outlet is located at the 3rd floor of the mall. In fact, they also have another shop at Level 5 which is more spacious with its appealing wooden theme too. And-I look forward to the next return soon!
[Alcohol served] CO2 Coffee Bar in Pavilion Bukit Jalil offers exciting coffee brews and cocktail mixes by infusing coffee and alcohol.
All in all, a satisfying post-recovery meal! PS: Front counter service is friendly.
Pretty good dessert with okay snacks.
Good croissant. My sister says it is made with high quality ingredients (given the price).
The food is surprisingly good. Love the noodle which are springy, with good crispy tempura. Nasi Lemak set is nice as well.
Macaroni with Creamy smoked shredded chicken, topped with torched cheese. Never expected to enjoy the taste of cheese pasta so much! Inside my mouth, it's incredibly thick but soft! I had been missing macaroni, so when I saw the mac & cheese pasta, I decided to order it!
Coffee, fries and waffles, all the good food in this cafe.
The curry seafood pasta is pretty good. Cake is okay.
The Place One of the up-and-coming restaurants in Kuala Lumpur to watch out for, I checked out Eat And Cook KL recently which is also #79 on Asia’s 100 Best Restaurants 2023.
There are only 2 types of course menu to choose from. The 5-Course Journey menu is priced at Rm 260++ per pax, comes with 5 dishes of different sensations and it takes about 90 mins for the whole journey. The 8-Course Journey menu is priced at Rm 380++, you will be able to enjoy the full journey with 8 dishes, including amuse bouche and petit fours. This journey takes times about 120mins.
Reasons to visit Eat and Cook in Bukit Jalil: All dishes have their hero ingredients. On our journey, we particularly enjoyed the reimagining of assam laksa, sambal belacan, ikan bakar and kulim. All wines were standouts, but if after something particular, we recommend asking Agnel for his suggestions.
Prices can be on the high side for some items, but then again, this isn’t some fast food joint as you have a bona fide chef churning out the dishes personally.
The meals here (Japanese / Taiwanese) are nice, albeit price slightly higher. We like fish set meal the best.
Love the vibe and food served. It is Taiwanese Japanese food, simple and nice.
整体来说我觉得这里的食物属中等,适合口味偏清淡的朋友,反而饮料比较有亮点。
Cafe Ame Soeur is a unique looking restaurant with classy and interesting vintage French decorations. It is a boutique cafe that serves delightful meals and a wide range of cakes and desserts.
Overall, the owner splashed a lot of money and hard work to decorate the whole cafe to a unique style which we have to give extra credit on that. All they need to work on is their quality of their food to make sure this cafe to continue to get return customers instead of new customers. The only worthwhile for now is their drink which is fairly acceptable even though it is a little pricey. That's the tips for their astonishing design.
On my previous post, I've written about an outing with my friend, Angeline. We went to two cafes, New Chapter by The Owls and Ame Soeur. I've already written about New Chapter by The Owls on my previous post, so now on this post, I'll continue writing about another cafe, which is Ame Soeur.
Unicorn Dream Parfait ( RM 15.80) The Unicorn dream Parfait comes with the layered raspberry vanilla ice cream with the konyaku jelly, cornflakes, whipped cream, marshmallow and cinnamon coated churros loop. It comes beautiful sight and yet good.
Weekdays Set Meal: Kichitori Rice Bowl + Chawanmushi + Iced Lemon Tea (RM19.80) This hot rice bowl is topped with stir-fried spicy sauce chicken with caramelised onion, broccoli, carrot, onsen egg, spring onion, sesame and shredded ROSE. It was a great combination, I like the touch of slight sweet flavour from the sauce. Chawanmushi was well flavour, smooth and silky.
The food taste average but I do love the Pinko Smoothie!
There’s Japanese food, and then, there’s Japanese cuisine that’s so good, it’ll knock your socks off. Buri by Two Chefs in Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur, seems like any other ordinary Japanese restaurant, but food is well-above expectations, short of an omakase experience.
As for the Buri Signature Maki, it’s a sublime serving worth savouring slowly. The freshness of each ingredients is unquestionable, and you’d have to take time to appreciate the myriad of textural contrasts and complementing flavours emerging from each of the morsels.
Overall, I adore the olde charm of this delicate teahouse, as much as its exterior design which is reminiscent of The Lakehouse and The Smokehouse- both resorts are located at the pristine hill of Cameron Highland. So yeah, I do miss them very much and hope to be able to go back again soon!
This is what we came for - the Banh Mi Thit Heo (RM8.80) - banh mi filled with grilled pork, coriander, pickled carrots and radish, and cucumber. The baguette was great - nice and crusty on the outside and soft and airy on the inside. The bread dough is made from scratch every morning using traditional Vietnamese techniques and ingredients. They were also generous with the grilled pork, tender with a sweetish glaze. It would be more satisfying though if this banh mi also came with egg (they have an option to add on egg, so we will do that next time). Overall it was a good banh mi and I spy a lot of other variety on their menu.
