♥Verdict: To be honest, the price range was on the higher side but Kenny Hills Bakery is a good place to spend a meal on, nonetheless. A worthy addition to my growing list of breakfast cafe, perhaps I should try their baked good on my next visit.

Roasted Chicken Pesto Pasta at MYR 40++ (10% service charge and 6% SST = MYR 46.40 nett). There are many roasted pine nuts in it so it is very tasty with the pesto sauce and not salty. The chicken meat has a very strong chicken taste.
Jibby by the Park is probably the prettiest restaurant in town. We really enjoyed the wide-open space and greenhouse-inspired interior.
Jibby Big Breakfast RM35 Portion is huge, a platter of artisan chicken sausage, beef bacon, mushroom, sauteed kale & onion, falafel hashbrown, rosated tomato and sour dough. Enough to fit two if you are small eater.
Reasons to visit Café Deli by El Meson: Portions are generous; bright, relaxed and attractive setting; easy to satisfy many taste preferences; lovely freshly baked pastries; menu suited to all-day-dining; don’t miss the Salad Niçoise.
♥Verdict: Overall, the food was fairly good which we rather enjoyed it and the ambiance was on point! I’d probably pay a revisit to check out the remainder of the menu, especially the platters.

[Pork-free] Opened by a group of neighbors who share a passion for baking, Baker Next Door offers pretty pies and rustic sourdough bread.
♥Verdict: One of the better noodles place I’ve tried lately and the pricing was affordable too.

Overall, the food is not as bad as we read on Google reviews. We understand the food is pricy considering the small portion (that they have informed us while ordering). Some of food we enjoyed is the char siew, kam heong clams, mixed mushrooms and French beans as well as the fried salted egg prawns and their famous Peking duck. Most important part, the kids like the fried rice.
Located at Desa ParkCity, Restaurant Onde Onde serves authentic Nyonya and local delights, using the recipes from family’s cookbook. With owner’s mother hails from Melaka and late father from Penang. It can be certain that food serves here will not fail from authentic Nyonya taste.
Verdict: The menu certainly one of the most extensive that I ever seen (another one would be the Kim Gary Restaurant) and I believe diners of all ages can find their favourable food here. Price and portion wise, pretty standard for Japanese restaurant I would say.
Wild Mushroom Aglio was good, but I was expecting something drier than the wet version. They were very generous with the amount of wild mushroom in it. Wild Mushroom Aglio @ RM 19.90
Asian Laksa Pasta RM27.90 As this place portrays themselves as an Asian fusion restaurant, I thought it was only appropriate if I tried out one of their Asian inspired dishes. Well, to be honest, I thoroughly enjoyed the sour and spicy flavours of the dish, blame it on my Asian palate. The pasta was cooked to the perfect al dente, and the sauce was tangy and creamy at the same time. It's like your usual Asian dish, but with an added creaminess to it, which to be honest, really complemented each other really well.
Favourite of the night is this Smoked duck breast @ RM 39.90++ Served with creamy potato mash, cherry tomato, sauté seasonal veg & red wine reduction. If some of you does not like slightly strong duck taste, then you might not really enjoy it. It is cook to perfection, soft and slightly pink on the meat. Eat along with the mash is a perfect combination.
Lucky Peaches Eating Hall & Bar offers three special menu; Festival Weekly Specials or Xmas or New Year's Eve 5 course SET Menu from RM118++ per pax, starting 12th December till New Year's Eve
♥Verdict: Overall, it was a fairly good dinner session, with two out of three of our food belong to the category of ‘I won’t regret ordering’ and the service was friendly too.
Though it has been some time ago before my revisit, there must be something memorable about this place that got me remembering it till now- and unmistakably is their porky dish, yum. So we settled down quickly for some cuppa and savoury. We skipped the sweets as the day was still tad early, haha.
Classic Beef Burger (MYR 17) Never say no to fluffily fried spiced fries- my all time fave!
Would we come back? Yes – if we are in the area. Eden had enough well-executed dishes to warrant a return visit. In particular, we would definitely order the siu mai, har gao, fish ball, clam dumplings, spare ribs and woo kok.
One of the few remaining surviving Dim Sum restaurants in Kepong is this one; offering Dim Sum from early morning to before mid-night! Eden Dim Sum also have another location presence in Bukit Tinggi, Klang.
A couple of items that Eden does right are: Siu Mai (both premium and normal version), Lala Mai, Char Siew Puff, Snow Crab Stick (imitation type) dim sum and fried carrot cake. The rest are pretty run of the mill standard that neither impress nor disappoint.
♥Verdict: Overall, our brunch at Skinny Dip was fairly good except for a few misses in between. I’d probably give it a second chance since it is near my house.

The Cheeky Shawarma was good, yummy. It came with 2 pieces of stuffed chicken wrap. The filling consisted of flavorful seasoned chicken slices + shredded cucumber, carrot and red cabbage. Besides that, the dish was also accompanied with a side of fries and apple salad. I however, decided to add on an additional side – buttered spinach.
Crispy Sushi Rolls (RM30) This sushi highlights the best of modern Tokyo’s cuisine. It’s wrapped with salmon, asparagus and ebiko before battered in panko and deep fried fried. We like how the nice crisp exterior pairs with the soft salmon fish and crunch of asparagus.
All in all, it was a lovely dining place over splendid Japanese spreads, perfect to be enjoyed with family and friends. Or even for special occasion like birthday celebration where you could actually request for a private room (subject to availability)- so it’s best to make prior reservation.
Shoyu Butter Scallop Spaghetti (MYR 38) For any butter lover, you would delight in this pasta naturally- what’s more with juicy and sweet scallop along? Bliss!
I especially like the rich buns. The peeling of the steamed buns is obvious.
This time I experienced good food and service.
Awww... One of the meal served. It is Yaki Buta Hamburg Don - RM20.90, the grilled Pork with rice. When bite it, the taste is quite nice and delicious.
With decent pricing and good portions, Just Nyonya proves to be a solid place for Nyonya food. Flavours are solid for most dishes with top favorites of mine that includes Perut Ikan, Chicken Kapitan, Sweet Potato Leaf Masak Lemak Keledek, Asam Prawns and more. There are also set lunch with very decent pricing and I spied Nyonya Laksa on the menu too. I will definitely be back to try other dishes on their menu!
Verdict: Food here is flavorful with loads of spice and aroma to entice me for a return. Good food with affordable pricing, Just Nyonya definitely a hidden gem at Kepong area that I will highly recommend! Oh ya, don’t forget to check out their set lunch priced at very decent price and I’m eyeing on the Nyonya Laksa, anyone joining me?
Chicken Curry Kapitan, which is a harmonious blend of tangy tamarind, creamy coconut milk and a variety of herbs and spices.
证明这里的食物很赞啦~
An affordable and decent Thai meal if you don’t wish to have steamboat which are aplenty at this area. There is also another Thai restaurant just a stone thrown away, maybe you can try it out & let me know how is it 🙂
The food I had here is really good. All of it.
Judging by the crowd that morning, I think this is probably one of the more popular restaurants for tasty yong tau foo and I can certainly see why. The yong tau foo, though slightly pricier than some other shops at RM1.50/pc, is still worth the price as it's also a lot bigger (and with plump fillings). As I'm not familiar with the food in Kepong, I don't know how good this yong tau foo is (compared to the rest in this area) but I find it to be pretty decent (compared to some of those I've had elsewhere) and I definitely wouldn't mind coming again for just that...and to try more of their cooked dishes (especially the Hakka dishes).
