Nice claypot rice, smoky with good salted fish fragrance, carrying with it nice crispy charred bits. Variety of Chinese sausage and vegetables. The only drawback was the slightly tough chicken. But quite a good claypot rice.
Having Traditional food like this really warms my heart as well as stomach. It was a satisfying meal and if you are craving for some traditional food like Claypot Rice or Cze Char Dishes in Sembawang Area, they can be of a good choice.
Overall, the claypot rice here is worth the trip to Sembawang area, even if you travel from Jurong.
White Restaurant is spreading the auspiciousness across three curated set menus – Joyous, Prosperity, and Fortune Sets – each customized for groups of 4, 6, 8, and 10.
This place is worth trying at least once, and for my next craving, I only trust the original outlet to serve me the best White Beehoon for now.
The fish meat is firm but yields easily when bit, with a light savoury sweet bitter flavour from the gravy. Unique dish, but personally, I didn't think it was that exciting.
My last visit to Woodlands Waterfront Park was when I still had a car and that’s almost six years ago! I remember it was a quiet place as th...
While the food was not outstanding, the view made up for it. I’ll definitely return to give their a la carte menu a try!
Chin Lee at Canberra Plaza was a pleasant surprise to me! I did not know it existed. Cold Crab to open it up. Nice and meaty, it was good to start. Pork Trotter Jelly – not my cup of tea, but…

Chin Lee Teochew Restaurant has opened a new outlet in Canberra Plaza serving delicious Teochew classics. They even have a tea bar!
Even though I was familiarized with the area surrounding Sembawang Shopping Centre, having worked there when I was 14 years old and it was near Yishun, this would be the first time I am checking out this stretch of eatery opposite the mall.
Prices are reasonable and service is friendly. Definitely worth a visit.
Xinghua Delights would be an interesting dining spot in the far north of the island, joining the league of Xing Hua eateries
The Daebak Korean Buffet Spread has two menus, priced at $18 and $22 for a minimum of 30 and 25 pax, and is perfect for corporate events and office gatherings.
Stamford Catering’s yu sheng has all the works of a good yu sheng platter; the vegetables were fresh and incredibly crunchy, the abalone slices were of just the right amount of thickness and delightfully chewy and the sauce added all the right flavours and bound the whole dish together.

Ku-Kai Izakaya is definitely a hidden gem not only for special occasions but also for a normal family meal or an evening date.
This hidden gem is perfect for any occasion – a post-work chill session, a family meal or even a romantic evening date. Due to their limited seating, I would recommend making a reservation before heading down!

Chilli Oil Wanton - back when crystal jade had a branch in northpoint, this was the dish i die die must order. Here in East Bistro, it was an utter failure; it wasn't a holistic combination and i would be better off eating the dumplings on their own.
East Bistro is one of those finds I almost wish I could keep hidden.
I’m sure you’ll enjoy their hospitality and the good food.
Pocket friendly cafe, with NETT price and the food was extreme good no wonder this cafe is getting more and more crowds! I definitely will be back for more.
Ambience at Common Chefs is modern and comfortable. The warmly lit place is neatly lined with cushioned benches, and metal and wooden furnishings, in shades of black, wood, beige, and grey.
Generally, we do agree that the quality and standard of food is thumb-up, especially at such a wallet-friendly price point. Ultimately, it is about one’s preference.
Featured in the Bento Boxes are new dishes Fresh Prawn in Chilli Crab Sauce and Deep Fried Mackerel with Turmeric, recently launched in celebration of National Day.

Be here to catch a glimpse of the Beaulieu House, and dine here to get into the vibe of the historical building, but do not expect the food to impress.

Hopefully, the space constraints of Just Because Creamery is just a minor problem in time to come; it is hard to come by a place in the North that serves ice-cream of such quality, and may Just Because Creamery be a place that residents in the North would be proud to mention for being in the neighbourhood.
Loving the meat with plenty of fats and having them with a scoopful of rice mixed in with the sauce, which was more savory than sweet although still addictive enough for me to keep popping in spoonful after spoonful.
Despite being far off the beaten path, Woody Family Cafe is somewhere I will gladly visit again and again!
The beehoon was a better-than-expected option. I have to agree with the stall assistant on this combination, even though I am one who always goes for yellow noodles and kway teow.
The noodles were really nice and comforting, bathed in a tasty ketchup-sweet vinegar sauce (which was probably enhanced by the bak kut teh stock), and sprinkled with fresh, fragrant and crispy fried shallots and pork lard.
The extra touch of tau kee really gave the dish a one-two punch of knockout taste and texture.
A good thing about Gyoza San is that its Halal and all Gyozas fillings are made up of minced chicken..
The three litres of tom yum broth might not taste the most authentic, but the generous servings of premium seafood definitely make up for it.
