Food at Rubato is modern Italian cuisine, with a balanced meat and plant-based menu. They use quality premium ingredients, and execute each dish perfectly and consistently, a testament to the skill of the kitchen. In fact, dining at Rubato has been among the most memorable meals of the year for me.
The chocolate fondant took quite a while to arrive, and we got a complimentary pistachio gelato. Wow, that's a nice gesture. It warmed our hearts.
Though the price may be steep, I find it worthwhile to splurge once in a while for quality and delicious Italian food with good service.

For those who love and appreciate steak, you can check this festive menu here in District 10. They offer pretty good aged beef with affordable pricing.
I'll highly recommend those who are curious to go try it for themselves.
Greenwood Fish Market has always been my place for a good meal for their fishes are fresh and comes with a good varieties
The Flounder Steak was a tinge overcooked, perhaps given that it was a thinner piece.
12 reviews of Peperoni Pizzeria "Love the firewood pizza its fantastic also love their xl pizza perfect for a party. Not forgetting the coffee :) Best to call in a make a booking for the weekend"
We left the restaurant with our stomachs filled to the brim with good food. The price was slightly on on the high side but like I said, every single dish was good or fantastic. We also saw many families having dinner here. There were papers and crayons on the tables for children to doodle while adults engaged in conversations. Overall, the place had great atmosphere and ambience. We strongly advise making reservations to avoid disappointment. Evans and I really like this place and its food and we will definitely be coming back for their XXL pizza the next time round!
Do pop by for these delectable dishes to be enjoyed over some fine wine selection.
For the sweet ending, don’t miss out of the traditional Panettone with Tiramisu Cream and the Christmas Dessert Buffet.
The chocolate tart was excellent with its rich dark chocolate flavour on light crust.
In our opinion, their pho gau was pretty good. The beefy broth was mostly savoury with a light hint of sweetness. Briskets were fatty and tender.
Not only was this sandwich such a delight to eat, but it was also filling; we can totally imagine coming back here just for it!
Now we know where we can get the same good quality bread and delicious pastries from Fine Dining Bakery by Akira .M, without having to pay the sky high price of a meal in a Michelin starred fine dining restaurant.
It is little wonder how Fine Dining Bakery by Akira M. had already become a pretty popular hidden gem within the Robertson Quay/River Valley neighbourhood, with so many regulars that had been coming back for more.
This is one cafe in the West we wouldn’t mind another trip to.
Ambience at Baker & Cook is comfortable and homely, designed to make you linger on.
Kudos to the sushi chef for his sushi creations, there was just too many to attempt. These were too sweet and had too much going on even more a sushi roll, meh.
I would certainly return to Dutch Colony Coffee Co when I am in need of a serious caffeine fix. And since they are so much nearer to my now, no doubt about going back again and again. But a pity, they don’t open till late.
Having shared some recipe notes with Chef, I sense that the dishes that day just weren’t an accurate reflexion of his true potential.
The Real Peranakan is a new Peranakan cuisine restaurant opened in Hillcrest, spearheaded by Chef Philip Chia.
武吉知马新店位于私人住宅区里,装潢怀旧亲切,菜式摆盘卖相也朴实家常,感觉就像到朋友家里用餐一样。
After everything that’s been said and done, and being avid fans of Lana Cake Shop’s iconic Chocolate Fudge Cake, all we can do is to hope that Mrs Kwan’s legacy is carried forward properly and not turned into another commercialised product.
Overall, the service was perfectly paced so we had ample time to savour every dish before the next one came. Food was good and some dishes were simply spectacular. I really enjoyed the Beef Cheek, Lamb Rack and Truffled Pappardelle.
I really enjoyed my lunch and would definitely want to return for dinner with my other half as he loves Italian food.
I’m not sure I agree that it’s the best restaurant in Singapore, but there’s certainly some fire behind that smoke.
The Environment and food quality are up to par. I do not mind visiting the other branches in Maju Ave or Upper East Coast Road too.
It wasn't cheap. But it was probably the best food that I've eaten all week.
I do prefer small, cozy, independent izakayas with fewer than 20 seats, but the effort, consideration, and ethics behind the sourcing of ingredients and the planning of the menu at Yonpachi Gyojo are worthy of encomium.
Nice place to have a zi char meal if you drive. The quality of the food is very good overall.
I think its worth going again as the quality of food is good and serving is quite reasonable for the price paid.
Overall, although the price for the lamb shank set lunch seemed to have increased since our last visit, the taste has remained wonderfully good.
The ever-dependable Chocolate Lava cake might score low on the Creativity Scorecard, but it is right at home at Donna Carmela. Plus when done well, you can't help but sink your spoon in for more than your fair share.
Apart from this nice gesture, overall service was also good, e.g. messy plates were changed without request.
