Tuaran Mee - the famous egg noodles in Tuaran, Sabah. There are 3 versions: Goreng Mee (Fried), Kon Lau Mee (Dry) or Mee Sup (Soup) with various toppings lik...
The Fried tuaran mee is very tasty with nice texture, while the kolo tuaran mee with softer and sweeter. For the ingredients, you can choose sangnyuk or mixed.
The plate of noodles is lightly fried with egg and without excessive usage of soy sauce, rendering a natural yellow colour of the noodles. The noodles are springy, and certain part of the noodles are charred to give it a crisp sensation and added texture. My bowl of Tuaran Mee is topped with delicious pork slices.
Their specialties are cooking with wild boar. Either with barbecue or soup, the taste of the wild boar is delicious and delightful. The texture of barbecue wild boar is a bit chewy instead but the overall texture is succulent and juicy.
Overall, Tuaran Mee has a satisfying mouthfeel and taste due to the generous amount of eggs.
This is also where most in-house guests have breakfast in the morning. The eatery has both air-conditioned and al fresco dining areas.
After waiting roughly 5-10 minutes, the signature dish has finally reached our table, BBQ Clam (Lokan Bakar) RM12.00 – has 20 yummy pieces on each tray. Just like any other types of shellfish, Lokan is actually sweet and chewy, tastes quite similar to satay due to their homemade bbq sauce, we could easily finish two full tray without any problem! 😉
Naan - Flavours of India is an award-winning Indian restaurant in Shangri-La's Rasa Ria Resort & Spa.
Memang sesuai menjadi lokasi kunjungan bagi yang mencari hidangan makanan laut.
It is difficult to say which one is better as this is a matter of personal preference. But if you want to know my opinion, I think Tuaran Mee has a slight edge.
Gerai Sudi Mampir serves Lokan Panggang as its signature dish.
