Here's the location.
We had the beef option and amongst the ingredients, notable one was the Australia Ribeye Beef... skillfully sliced to perfection
Diners can enjoy a serving of meat, including Spanish Iberico meat, Australia wagyu ribeye beef slice, tripe, tendon, and beef ball. As for seafood, check out the grouper fish fillet, prawn, fish maw, and sea cucumber. Premium choices are the whole abalone (canned), green lobster, and live Boston lobster.
Also noteworthy is the BBQ Pork Bun. Not only that the bun was soft, the real draw was the juicy, sweet BBQ Pork filling. It was moist and easy on the palate... with a bold, heavy punch of flavors.
Highlights include the deep-fried fish, Fuzhou fish balls, minced pork, and nicely marbled pork belly. The minced pork is leveled up by adding on an egg and a bit of pepper powder
The lactose intolerant would be glad to know that there's milky version and non-milky version of broths, we opted for the latter one. The broth was amazingly sweet, but probably because of the massive greens (Chinese White Cabbage and Cabbage) in the broth; the flavor was great and reasonably seasoned
我觉得这里的环境比较好,这里除了是一家装潢不错的韩式餐厅,空气也较流通,不会吃得满头大汗,而且老板娘也是韩国人呢!
Overall, the foods offering here are quite good and the price is reasonable. We would definitely visit again in the future.
Fish Fillet in Superior Soup Ramen 上汤鱼片拉面 (Rm 15.80) The Ramen was not any better as well, though the broth was flavorful, it did not really hit us. We thought it was disappointingly average
Seafood Tomyam Congee (RM 16.80) Meanwhile, Seafood Tomyam Congee texture was perfect - mushy and fine to a smooth consistency. Though not exactly hot and spicy like the conventional tomyam taste, overall the taste was good for us. The congee was soothing, something which we would definitely come back in future.
We were shocked but delighted to see the gigantic portion of this Caveman Platter which should be able to feed 3 to 5 person well. The Platter comes with 2 Chicken Sausages, 2 Pepper Lamb Sausages, 4 Chicken Kebabs, 4 Chicken Wings, as well as some Char-Grilled Lamb. Both the sausages were well-executed and delicious so does the Kebab.
Coffee Jelly 这是 No Eyed Deer 最著名的甜品。 我觉得还不错,因为我很喜欢喝咖啡。
Edo Ichi is kind of a luxury japanese restaurant. Though, i think they serve sorta bigger portion than Sakae Sushi and have better service.
It is so pack that we can’t get a table and have to sit at Sushi bar but better than waiting, the sushi bar is not small either it has great depth that enough to place a few plate so it still very comfort. Great environment with dim light and a big aquarium with sea water fish in it.
Next, we tried Edo Ichi’s Soft Shell Crab and Salmon Skin salad (RM18). This salad comes with a heavenly sesame dressing that left me wanting more! I love Asian style dressings so much more than regular mayo or Thousand Island.
The Fried Wild Mushroom Fried Rice 野菌炒饭 is a comfort fare, with a variety of mushrooms, carrot, and vegetables whipped up with a pleasing, smoky taste. The accompaniment is a simple salad, a combination of shredded purple and white cabbage, carrot, and corn. Chili padi in light soy sauce gives the dish a spicy kick.
Black Porridge, Fish (RM 9.50) certainly is a great bargain with its wallet-friendly price tag. The dish utilizes a more solid rice granules, which presumably to unpolished rice grains that comes with richer nutrients. A handful of black mushrooms were added to the porridge, giving rise to a pleasant taste portfolio for the overall dish. It totally dismisses the claim that porridge is meant for sick person.
Mama Kim's signature Sauna Mee did not disappoint. A pot of goodies served with in a scorching hot pot, the broth is then poured over it... allowing it to heat up and to bring it to a boil. The broth was lightly seasoned with discernible sweetness from vegetables, everything felt so light and easy on the palate. For those who prefer a spicy punch, try their home-made Chili paste.
Service is good and price is reasonable.
Spaghetti Aglio olio with Smoked Duck (RM 21) is cooked to al-dente with a generous quantity of smoked duck. Sprinkles of chili flakes may be a tad overwhelming as it rendered the entire dish tasted flat. Overall, the spaghetti was a tad greasy to enjoy.
Rather a playful combination, the Creamy Tomato Thai Sauce Spaghetti did not really hit us. We found the combo a little odd at the beginning... it was a medley of sweet, savory, sour and spiciness in one go but it was somehow weird to us. It was something like Thai Chili sauce with Carbonara Cream sauce; the Chicken was disappointingly average. Though tender, it did not really leave us with a very deep impression.
It’ll be one dining experience that you’ll never forget about.
It’s our first time here and on the visit, we went for the Midori set – a reasonably priced course with the offering of appetizers, 8 kinds of sushi, a special dish, kaisen chawan mushi, and dessert. The highlight is the sushi rice – prepared using traditional-aged red vinegar which lightly colors the rice and giving it a mellow taste. A touch of freshly-grated wasabi gives the food a spicy lift.
Previously a chef at Miraku, Chef Takahiro Kinoshita and his wife opens their own restaurant at Vantage. Here's the location. Please call to make reservation before you visit during the weekends.
To sum it up, this is a good authentic Japanese restaurant which I will definitely pay them another visit for their set lunch menu (They serve ala carte during dinner). I give this restaurant extra points because they serve 100% authentic Japanese instead of commercialised fusion food.
Sifu Nyonya Cuisine is a spot to visit if you’re needing a taste of traditional Nyonya food.
工作人员和老板的态度都很好;环境虽然没有古香古色属于比较摩登装潢可是依然有着娘惹的韵味整体空间很感觉都很舒服
Unlike most ramen restaurants in Malaysia, Menya Miyabi remains faithful to the authentic recipe in Japan.
Gyoza (Fried Dumplings). 6pcs – RM13.00, 10pcs – RM19.00. The gyoza is one of the highlights here. The skin was thin and fried until slightly crispy. The inner filling was juicy and tasty. It has the right ratio of meat and veggie in the filling
Food here at Taco Bell is good and is a good option for a quick meal to fill up your tummy. Environment here is nice and comfortable too. Service is good and quick.
Japanese eateries is sprouting fast lately in Prima Tanjung, Penang amidst several oldies. A favorite oldies is Aji Noren, a husband-wife-run restaurant offering a blend of authentic Japanese dishes as well as stir-fried home-style food. Established way back in 2003, the restaurant hidden behind the main road of Jalan Fettes has Eric T.A. Koh tending to the kichen while wife Alicia oversees the front of the house. Almost 14 years already, and today this humble gem has established a regular local customer base among the Japanese community.
All above taste awesome and super delicious, especially Bee Hun Soup which is extremely strong in flavor. The best part of Xiang Yun dishes is the “meat” are nicely done texture and flavor.
Xiang Yun Vegetarian Delight (香雲素食坊) is one of the few vegetarian shops in Penang that also have elements of a café.
Visiting Xiang Yun Vegetarian Delight 香云素食坊 for the first time, I was pleasantly surprised by its approach of using vegetarian ingredients and making them into palate pleasing meal. Located on the first floor of Vantage in Tanjong Tokong, Penang, this is the third Xiang Yun outlet to open in Penang, after two other locations at Kompleks Lebuh Nipah and I-Avenue.
Don’t miss the chance to try the Hokkien Mee and Lam Mee. The Hokkien Mee has noodles served with egg, small prawns, meat slices, bean sprouts, and kangkong in spicy meat stock. The stall also sells Lor Mee where the noodle dish is served with gooey brown broth.
Besides putting a lot of effort into maintaining the taste and smooth texture of the poached chicken, Mr Tan cooks the rice with a depth of fragrant chicken flavour using chicken stock.
Meraki Coffee is the latest addition to Island Plaza. Unlike some hip cafes in town, Meraki Coffee keeps things simple. The interior decor with wood finishes radiates a calm and relaxing vibe while the menu offers a range of classic crowd-pleasing cafe fare and a couple of unique offerings. The menu is not exactly big but more than good enough for breakfast or light-lunches. Those with a sweet tooth would be glad to know that Meraki Coffee offers a good variety of home-made cakes and pastries. Though the menu is not really solid enough to make the cafe a place for meal, it is nevertheless, a convenient space within the mall with cozy atmosphere to hang out with friends or family.
