Restaurant JAG is not your typical French restaurant and its uniqueness is certainly what earned it its Michelin star.

Monte Risaia Omakase Dinner Review by Chubby Botak Koala, Japanese Italian inspired Restaurant Singapore, Best Japanese Italian Food Singapore,
Monte Risaia is a cosy Japanese Italian Restaurant in Duxton Road for affordable Japanese-Italian fusion omakase.
One day I'd like to come here to try their dinner (interestingly, they cook on crystal platters, allegedly for more evenly spread heat), but I definitely can't be the one paying.
来到新加坡,肉勝又位于Duxton Road老店屋,狭长型店面只有28个座位,置身其中却不至于有一股油烟味。
Price-point is reasonable, not just for the dishes but also for the alcoholic beverages when you dine at the restaurant during happy hours.
Robust flavours across the dishes at Kilo and it is a lovely dining ambience as well. This restaurant is suitable for couple dates or group meals, and it is one worth returning again.
Kilo Kitchen at Duxton has a relaxed atmosphere and a resort feel - the menu offers a mix of cuisines from all over the world.
I was quite disappointed at the experience at the new Kilo Kitchen. Doubt i'll be back anytime soon.
Monument Lifestyle at Duxton is unlike the typical cafe in a hipster enclave or a swanky cafe in a mall. The interior is visually engaging and the place has personality.
I quite liked my Chipotle Chicken sandwich (S$14) and latte (S$6.50) even if things were on the pricier side!
The vibe is great here and I would certainly be back for more coffee and the teas they have to offer.
I love the new Crab menu by Pince & Pints which added a variety to the original menu and yet it does not stray away from their theme.
It’s interesting to note if there would be a fresh comeback for lobster rolls with the impending opening of the first Burger & Lobster outlet in Singapore at Jewel Changi Airport.
Overall, the seafood was definitely the star of the restaurant with freshness almost straight from the market and served with the perfect thickness and cuts. In terms of price, it is relative to the quality of the ingredients. The hot food was ok and nice but nothing too different from other Japanese restaurants. I do not mind returning just for their seafood
The service was generally pleasant and the staffs greeted us with a smile for the whole time. It was a pleasant one and I hope to visit them soon for their Omakase.
Yue Bai Chinese Restaurant is a new restaurant that opened in a shophouse at Duxton Road, Tanjong Pagar Singapore. In an area littered with pubs, Western and Korean restaurants, a new Chinese restaurant is not very common at this vicinity. Which made us curious to check it out.
If you are looking for a new Chinese restaurant to check out, Yue Bai is worth a shot. The flavour of the dishes leans towards the lighter spectrum but are nonetheless flavourful.
Lime zest fries were okay-ish too. It had that flavoured crusty surface that tasted like twister fries - with the lime zest of course.
This was superb - I think I'm going to have cravings for it after trying! If you are a fan of blue cheese then this is the burger for you.
Lombardo’s is also pretty confident in converting those who haven’t taken a liking to durian, with this curious creation.
we all need to pamper and enjoy ourselves once in a while and Marcy's is the perfect restaurant for conversations and delicious seafood.
Yellow Pot跟随六善集团的理念,注重健康,选用天然食材与可持续发展原材料烹煮中餐。
I was initially sceptical about Yellow Pot as the vibe it exudes is nothing like a conventional Chinese restaurant. The dishes I tried are generally not heavily seasoned but suffice to say, they are enjoyable.
MIYU Japanese Restaurant in Duxton is a fine Japanese Omakase Restaurant; expect reasonably priced quality food, with lunch omakase from $88.
Slightly dense and so fluffy, this had a kueh texture and chewiness to it too. So yummy! Even on its own without the scoops of gelato.
Kosnica SG, specializing in waffles and gelato, has opened quietly at 61 Duxton Road.
I was not impressed with the ice cream too. I somehow tasted artificial colouring and flavouring in them. The texture was kinda strange too.
Beau Monde de Singapore located at 45 Duxton Rd, Singapore 089509, serving Whiskey, Cocktails and wine to an eclectic crowd
There are plenty of Korean BBQ restaurants in Singapore. If you don’t believe me, just walk down Tanjong Pagar Road where they are all over the place! It’s quite a spectacle seeing all the long queues of young people waiting patiently for a table at the various restaurants. I wish I had the luxury of time to do that, even if I don’t particularly fancy queuing up for food.
It is a modestly decorated space but we were impressed with the attention to detail.
Come and judge for yourself if this is indeed your cup of tea.
I left the restaurant feeling like something is amiss in my dinner experience and headed elsewhere for more food.
Torri Izakaya is the perfect place for friends who gather for a good time or office workers who are looking for some after-work drinks, tie-loosened, hair down.
It is weird to eat in a club-like environment—in the dark with handbag music. The food selection is limited. But the food is delicious and inexpensive. If you work around the area, make this your regular lunch spot.
Here's something that you don't hear about very often: a Swedish bartender runs a Danish hot dog place with a playful Chinese name at Orchard Towers.
On the whole, they serve decent Singaporean fusion food. There is no GST although 10% service charge applies.
