Pampkin Biscuit Cake...taste good indeed...sweet and hot!
对了,他们的榴莲雪糕(Durian Ice Cream)还是 青皮榴莲品种制成的啊!味道很不错,吃了非常满足!
The Beehive 的精致白巧克力蜂巢抢夺眼球
The pastries are prepared in bite-size pieces so that customers can sample them all.
We highly recommend their New Zealand lamb stick and Australia beef ribeye.
The Oysters and Scallops are equally great... fresh, plump with minimal seasoning. The taste is pretty direct and straight-forward, the winning factor here is the freshness and the quality of the ingredients. We thought they nailed it.
From the main, it’s all about quality meat – New Zealand lamb stick, pork belly, and Australia beef ribeye. The meat done with intense smoke flavor along with dashes of herbs and spices are really promising. One can easily develop a love affair with these meat.
NO MSG ADDED on food.
I like the environment here and also the food, that is the reason why i come back here to revisit Hideout Cafe.
While we agreed that the waffle texture for the Tropical Coconut Waffle (RM 17.90) was delicious, the coconut ice cream somehow was a let-down, and did not match well with the other waffles toppings and the strawberry sauce.
Tried Ah Guang Lamb Pot, Icon City. Lamb Belly Pot & Coconut Chicken Pot, worth the recommendation.
Gyu Tataki Salad on the other hand, was quite impressive. We love the fork-tender, juicy Beef Tataki. Together with the Wafu-dressing, the combination was refreshingly light on the palate.
Enjoy a good lunch with good friends in TAIRYO Japanese Cuisine Icon City (Iconic Hotel Building).
Sweetful Desserts Icon City 食糊糖水铺
I love the restaurant ambient here ESPECIALLY with the HK Oldies SONGS.............
For the Avocado with Chilled Black Glutinous Rice, we love the creamy, smooth texture of the Avocado blend but the addition of Palm Sugar overpowered the Avocado flavor. It felt a little odd to have Palm Sugar in Avocado.
This is my personal comment....not worth to taste for this plate
超值午餐
The Pork Burger here taste average but i love the Onion Ring that comes with it, haha !
Where Cozy Meets Japanese & Taiwanese Delights!
quiet place, nice food, romantic ambient
Cheezy Nacho ( Corn Flake with cheese)...good snack. I believe it is a mexico dessert.
The food quality is above average. I like the restaurant ambient and the restaurant staffs are very friendly.
Here's the location.
Crab Spaghetti .....sign dish here!!
The restaurant ambient is good...I mean clean, quiet, cool and relaxing.
The Will's Brasserie can be easily stereotyped as the conventional-boring Western food in the neighborhood, at least both the interior and exterior decor did not convince us but if you were to study the menu thoroughly, you will find that it's actually a place offering premium steak cuts and seafood. There's a display fridge at the end of the restaurant where ambitious meat eaters can pick their preferred cuts and pay according to the weight of the meat (same goes to Seafood). Premium products such as Wagyu Beef, Angus Beef, New Zealand Lamb Loin, Lobster and Cod are available (no, they don't come at the prices that you would want to pay for a casual-regular meal) while the budget-watchers can opt for the pasta and poultry dishes on the menu. The Will's Brasserie is located in front of Iconic Hotel at Icon City.
The official opening celebration almost mirrors the same one they had for their first branch in Penang, located in Nagore Square. So, of course, there’s buy one free one!
I had their signature Brown Sugar Deerioca Milk @ RM12.90. The first sip I took when the straw was positioned at the bottom of the cup was wonderful. The intense aroma and sweet rush of the brown sugar was really something. But after you stir the pearls and brown sugar around, the entire drink feels like a slightly sweetened milk – one that you could make yourself at home. Clearly, Cojiitii’s Fresh Milk series are the superior choice and not to mention cheaper too!
In fact, their pearls are what differs them from other milk tea chain.
Summer Dessert Bakery Cafe不仅是一家普通即买即走的面包店,它还是一家以实惠的价格提供可口舒适食物和饮料的Cafe。
The famous Summer Bakery is now open in Bukit Mertajam. This place is big and serve variety of bread, pastry, food and drinks.
Sous Vide Chicken Breast on the other hand... was beyond amazing. Not only that the texture was sous vide-quality, the meat was nicely seasoned and the concoction of sauce nicely complemented the meat. The serving portion exceeded our expectation, certainly a dish that deserves more credits.
As a pioneer of semi fine dining in Seberang Perai, CO- aims to bring quality food to the table at reasonable prices.
Bird's Nest... a prized Chinese delicacy that symbolizes wealth and social status, can now be enjoyed in the form of modern desserts in the newly opened Birds Nest Secret, Icon City. It is also believed to carry medicinal effects and does wonders to the skin... making it extremely popular amongst the ladies whom seek for flawless skin or to preserve their age. Birds Nest Secret is a cafe that specializes in offering bird's nest... more so in the form of sweet treats. Both the interior and exterior decor are swanky and modern, presented in shades of sparkling gold and a touch of wood; popular seats are often taken up during peak hours, if a table with picturesque background concerns you, do make your reservation early. The selection is wide but comes with hefty price tags. Given the taxing price rates, we are not too sure if this is a place that we'd like to make a visit... more for novelty experience.
The Truffle Omelette on the other hand, fared better than the Poke Bowl... at least the Truffle flavor was bold and the texture was spot on. The Omelette was soft and blanketed in a seemingly cheesy-creamy sauce topped with sauteed Button Mushrooms. A pity that the serving portion was too small for that price tag though.
The restaurant is called "Nomad" because the chef is constantly exploring new gastronomical experiences.
Among all the a la carte items we had, the tiger prawns, sea bass, dumpling, herbal chicken and pork ribs were all great – provided that you pick the right sauces to go with them.
With the concerns over healthy lifestyle, hotpot devotees have found their way out and now, steamed hotpot seems to be the rage. The idea was started in China- heating the distilled water produces heat to cook the food, there will be a dish at the bottom of the pot to collect the water vapor and essence of the steamed food. MQL Steamed Hotpot is first of its kind at Icon City, Bukit Mertajam. The idea is to serve the food in its unadulterated best, without adding additional seasonings or flavors to the food. Foods are steamed dish by dish on the table, with a fixed sequence (with induction stove fit seamlessly onto the table). The trained servers will advise the sequence as well as the cooking time. Seasonings and marination are minimal so diners get to enjoy the natural flavors of the ingredients. Guests can choose from different set menus but each set combo is carefully paired with balanced elements; the fully air-conditioned restaurant is most suitable for family dinners. MQL can be found on the 2nd floor, right above St. Espresso at Icon City, Bukit Mertajam.
On mains, the Gyuniku Sukiyaki Rice Set comes in a huge serving portion but to our dismay, the Sukiyaki Hot Pot was served like an ordinary pot... sans the continuous heating at the bottom. It then quickly became cold as we continued eating. The flavor was alright but it just did not feel like eating the real Sukiyaki. Also, raw Egg was replaced with Soft Boiled Egg
