Do you have any idea how DELICIOUS the ‘homemade‘ churros, chocolate syrup and freshly churned gelato are when eaten together? It’s AMAZING and you need to try it for yourself.
Look forward to savouring Nasi Kerabu, a rice dish served with home grown ulam (raw vegetables and herbs), fried salted fish, fish crackers and a selection of garnishing. The natural blue colour of the Nasi Kerabu comes from the petals of bunga telang (a blue flower) grown in our farm.
It is one of the most value for money buffet that offers more than 200 dishes ranging from traditional Malay, Western and Oriental cuisines. Prices start from as low as RM59.00 Nett for adults and RM29.50 for children
hehehe pastu aku ambil lamb shoulder as main course...memang sedap lamb dia...dah le portion banyak, sedap pulak tu makan bersama sauteed mushroom tu
Smoked duck curry is probably one of the rarest street food in the Klang Valley. When we first heard of the famous Itik Salai Masthar in Kajang, we were drooling in front of our screens. The ducks are smoked in this opened air oven with coconut shells and you can even see the fats dripping off the ducks. Our feast was filled with authentic traditional kampung flavours and spice. This is definitely a must-visit spot in Kajang.
Ana Ikan Bakar Petai located in Bangi serves amazing Grilled Fish (Ikan Bakar), and on top of that, it has stink beans (petai)! Ana Ikan Bakar Petai Bangi is located south of Kuala Lumpur, about 30 minutes drive away from the city, and is a famous spot for locals for casual dining and satisfy their Ikan Bakar cravings!
Both the Chicken and Mutton Sate were very different to the Kajang style of preparation. Since this recipe is from Kelantan, it is good to see that they have not localised it and still prepare it the way it is done back home. Both the sate's were quite dry, there were a lot more spices used and generally it was on the spicy side. Even their Nasi Impit comes in banana leaves and has a slightly different texture to it. If you're looking for a Sate that's different to the ones that we get in this side of Peninsular Malaysia, I would recommend giving this one a try. Pricey, unique but tasty.
My family and I were totally delighted to be invited to Hotel Bangi-Putrajaya to be part of their 20th Anniversary Celebration recently on May 1st, 2017. Hotel Bangi-Putrajaya has recently completed the renovation of its all-day-dining restaurant, rebranding Cafe Lavista after 10 years of operation to FUNTASIA, A Magical Culinary Experience! FUNTASIA is a buffet restaurant that serves up tempting local cuisine, delightful western favourites as well as other dedicated "action stalls' where teams of talented and friendly chefs perform a gastronomical symphony. Diners will be brought on a journey that promises to excite their palate, delight their senses and transport them to a culinary wonderland.
If you like something unique, the Flying Noodles Inaniwa Udon (RM 49) might just be the right one for you, you can go nuts for the dish, and not only because it's tasty - but the combo of its colours! It's practically magical as demonstrated by the kitchen’s attention to detail slurping down that tasty dipping of Salted Eggs Yolks.
Their Fried Baby Crabs and Sup Kambing are two of the main attractions here. Just look at how cute and tiny they are. The Fried Baby Crabs are fried to a golden crisp; best paired with their in-house ASAP Chilli Sauce.
Bagi aku rasa dia kira OK lah.... ayam goreng dia macam menarik dan sedap juga.
Old Man, as it has long been known, started off in a humble coffee shop before expanding into a larger, more comfortable air conditioned premises when business starts picking up. Those were the old days when my foodie buddy visited them in Kajang for a good taste of the old hand with the wok.
It's truly a lovely steamboat and BBQ dining experience.
Obviously, we do not miss the premium lamb, abalone slice and smoked duck. we are drooling when see the premium meat and abalone which is the signature ingredients in Pak John Steamboat & BBQ.
我们来到这里最开心的是五岁以下小孩得以免费吃喝!
Maybe buffets aren’t that bad after all. Post-COVID-19 SOPs certainly make them much for pleasurable for introverted hygiene freaks such as myself. No one should complain about the quality and variety of food at Latest Recipe Le Meridien Kuala Lumpur. And, while hubby holds none of my qualms, the half-price promo is undoubtedly a win.

If you are planning to visit Willy Satay Kajang Ramal Junction Food Court, please try their lamb satay. It is one of the best we tasted. Ask your Kajang friends and they will recommend Willy Satay.
All the satay sticks are flavourful by its own. A good combination yet the only thing to highlight is that if you are taking the lamb, it is slightly tough on meat and gamey in taste. Those of you do not like lamb taste, this might turn you off. However, eaters like me, must have the gamey taste and we enjoy it.
One of the things you must try when coming to Kajang is to have Kajang Satay! Willy Satay serves one of the best Kajang Satay in Kajang, and locals are willing to travel the distance to get their satay craving fixed! This Malaysian street food could be eaten as a snack or an entire meal by its own here at Willy Satay, just because the Kajang Satay here at Willy Satay is so so delicious!!
Overall, we saw improvement with the taste of the satay at Restoran Putera Kajang Satay. It is definitely better than the satay we had two years ago. We had no issue with the service and attitude of the people here. If you want to try tasty lamb satay and fish satay, you can visit Restoran Putera Kajang Satay.
The best recommendation is to try Otak Otak. Especially for tourists who enjoy doing new things. It is really delicious
Both their Chicken and Mutton Satay were good. The marination wasn't too sweet and it was just perfect for the peanut dip sauce. The meat was tender and no fat as well. My rating for their Chicken and Mutton Satay shall be 8/10.
If you planning to visit Restoran Siaw Kwee, this is Claypot Salted Fish with Pork Belly is a must order. What we like about this is the balanced taste and the tender texture of the pork belly. Overall this is spot on and when it is served in the claypot, you can smell the aroma of the pork and the salted fish. Remember to mix everything together to combine the flavours and this goes well with the rice.
Google and check out Restaurant Siaw Kwee 加影萧家辣汤 as it is one of the recommended ones in links and decided to try it out. Since heard many of my friends mention that Kajang is famous for “Lat Thong” (spicy soup on my own interpretation).
This is a dish that is unique to this restaurant. I have not seen this kind of preparation in any other restaurant. The ribs were large and meaty and the salted egg batter was heavenly. A must try dish at this restaurant. For the portion, I felt that the price was acceptable despite this being much higher than the other dishes that we had this afternoon. Taste wise, I would rate this at 10/10.
You can probably spot me having satay on my own at Sate Haji Samuri Kajang. I just love to have satay from time to time and it is one of my favourite food in Malaysia.
Still tasting very similar to what I had growing up, this is a place I might take that long drive to have again.
Hubby is a huge fan of satay and for the longest time, we've been speaking about going to Kajang for satay but it didn't quite transpire. Last weekend, we finally made plans with our friend PT to take the MRT to Kajang for a satay trail.
Shrimp Chee Cheong Fun (Small) @ RM 6.50 The portion is huge even though we went for the smaller version. I think this is good to feed an average eater. What liked most about their preparation is the freshness of the ingredients. Even the shrimp was so fresh and tasty and the blend of sauces and chilli paste was heavenly. 9/10 shall be my rating for this dish.
Ten Hup Chee Cheong Fun is very popular with the locals and you can find many people either dining in or taking it away. You can ask any locals about the famous chee cheong fun and they will recommend you Ten Hup Chee Cheong Fun. You can find us dining there occasionally early in the morning having a cup of coffee with a big plate of Hong Kong style chee cheong fun. This is a must visit place for breakfast in Kajang.
I would say this is the best Hong Kong style Chee Cheong Fun in Kajang Town with reasonable price. There is a choice between fresh prawns, Char Siu or a mix of prawns and Char Siu fillings for the Chee Cheong Fun. I ordered a big portion for myself and a small portion for my boy of the mixed fillings type and this order did not disappoint us at all! The Chee Cheong Fun was very silky smooth and fine. They were very generous with the fillings, you may request for extra the sauce and sambal if you crave for heavier and spicier taste.
The food overall is good but prepare for the long wait due to the packed restaurant. The people here are friendly and the food prices here is above average if you compare to other restaurants in Kajang but it is cheaper than restaurants in Kuala Lumpur or Petaling
加影万发海鲜饭店 Kedai Makanan Wan Fatt Kajang 接受外带食材帮忙烹煮, 这份酸甜炸鱼征收RM25的烹煮费, 个人觉得收费合理。
