Overall, we think that Maria’s Steakcafe is still one of the best places for decent steak in KL. The dining experience here was extra enjoyable due to the view of KLCC Park and its water fountain show.
Maria’s Signature teams up with Amanda Wan to create a special cocktail menu to pair with their steaks. Three cocktails and a sizzling steak are all it takes for you and a loved one to have a smashing good time.
Reasons to visit Maria’s Signature: lovely first-floor location overlooking the KLCC fountain and park; perfectly cooked STEAK!; some excellent deals for the new year such as buy-one-free-one wagyu from January 9 to 15, 2021.
The food is good, but not enough to justify the price and the service. One of those being dodgy and we might have gone back, but not both. We’ve noticed you can get delivery from here now, so maybe that’s the way to go!
A good choice I would say and they have a set menu and we went for it after checking out each item.
The Imperial Chakri Palace KLCC & Chakri Palace Pavilion “Tantalizing Tastes of Thailand” buffet dinner will be available daily from 30th May 2017. The buffet items are rotated from three different menus specially prepared for the month of Ramadhan and is open from 7.00 p.m. onwards. Priced at RM95.90++(KLCC) & RM85.90++ (Pavilion) per person for adults, RM49.90++ (KLCC) & RM42.90 (Pavilion)per child between six and ten years old and also for senior citizen (>60 years old) whilst children under 6 dine for FREE.
Chef’s Mom’s Beef Croquette (Rm 28) A very delicious deep fried potato snack with crunchy panko shell and soft creamy potato with ground beef center. This was superb! Very delicious, must have if you are here.
To complement the ambiance quintessentially, each menu is delicately crafted and embodied with its own stories which are then set to delight both of your palate and visual senses. This goes from the iconic KLCC beautifully plated dish, one-of-its-kind soba noodle to moreish desserts with fascinating stories behind especially the Mozart Pudding. Of course, not forgetting the many signatures housemade special pickles as well as appetizers and small bites namely assorted yakitori that pair really well when you’re having a tipple or two.
7 UP Juicy Fried Chicken These meat cutlets are so juicy and crispy! Seriously, you do not want to miss this, nyummm......
To know what's good here....just follow one simple rule.....stick to anything that has Hokkaido's fresh cream in them (*wink wink*) coz those that I tried that didn't have that fresh cream weren't as successful. I've only scratched the surface with this one as there are loads more on to try but the high prices stop me dead in my tracks...though it won't stop me from getting my all-time favourite dorayaki! ^_*
It is easy to see why many are still flocking here everyday to try Chateraise’s products. For example, the Hokkaido puff is not something you could easily find here. And even if you can find it, it doesn’t taste as good as the original one.
Strawberry Parfait. RM18.00. The strawberry so fresh, so red!!!
Reasons to visit Mama San KLCC: feast or graze, there are several items to suit many preferences; full-flavoured South East Asian inspired food; contemporary plating; convenient location; nice views of the park and water feature viewed from alfresco patio; drink a fresh coconut or Gin Passion Mule; eat Chicken Soup, Butter Chicken and don’t miss a slice of Carrot Cake; end the meal with an Espresso Ginger Martini.
Enjoy our fresh Sweet & Sour Crispy Whole Fish with Ginger Flower and Chilli, perfect to pair with Jasmine Rice. I just can't stop eating the fish and this is also a signature dish at Mama San.
“Dendeng Balado” Beef with Kaffir Lime Chili & Lemon Basil (MYR 67) Another highlight would be this long hour braised beef cutlet. They were so tender and succulent, whereby each bite of the meat was very well and evenly marinated with intense flavour from the spice. I guess the picture does not do justice to this dark-coloured spiced meat, but trust me- it was really good and thou should not miss ordering this whenever patronizing Mama San.
This is a place I strongly recommend for the food.
Yuzu is quite a nice place, with decor that includes a wall of the eponymous citrus fruit. It doesn’t feel like somewhere which opens onto a big mall. Staff were ok, though it was a slight disappointment hat they couldn’t do cocktails when we visited. If you want Japanese food in KLCC without having to fork out for Nobu (not that I have), it’s worth making the trip to the top floor.
Yuzu continues to satisfy us with their food each time we dine here. Their a la carte menu (albeit with higher prices) is so extensive you'll be spoilt for choice. But if you're looking for a more affordable Japanese meal, their lunch and dinner sets will certainly be better value...and better priced. Probably three not-very-hungry people can share two sets for even greater value! ;)
Reasons to visit Sunday Champagne Brunch OpenHouse KLCC: beautiful setting; attractively plated and delicious Malaysian dishes (promise you’ll view local food in a whole new light); stylish and hygienic brunch with everything served a la carte style in unlimited portions; tiered packages for food and booze; free-flow Champagne.
Reasons to visit Open House KLCC: BEAUTIFUL restaurant; stunningly presented food; and a menu celebrating the best of Malaysian cuisine.
Even after a long layoff of not stepping into Madam Kwan's, I have to say that the food is still as I remembered though a tad overpriced (more so now that the prices have increased further)! The food may not be as intriguing as the story behind Madam Kwan's but kudos to the team for maintaining the standards and tastes all these years.....since 1977!
The Cafe offers 12 Craft Beer on Taps and I think not less than 100 bottled Craft Beers.
Reasons to visit Delirium Café KL: An amazing selection of Belgian craft beers with knowledgeable and passionate staff to help with your journey. Tasty food and a fun atmosphere make it a great place to gather with friends – day or night.
My Personal Opinion The beef aglio olio was certainly the better lunch set of the two (in terms of taste) but the fried chicken chop set was a generous portion which some may appreciate.
Ice cream parlour that offers premium soft serve ice cream, with exciting toppings to go with it.
For the beautiful ladies who would like to have smoother skin, try Bee Smile with fresh honeycomb as topping. If u don't have a sweet tooth, u can go for Summer Time, which has some peach in it and it's not sweet.Poplicious seems to be the most popular among kids & those who are always a kid at heart, While Seasalt caramel has gotta be my favourite item on the menu
Happy Creme has a bright setup with white interior that looks inviting and display a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. Lay back to enjoy a cup of coffee or pamper yourselves with a cup of ice cream that is always the best for a hot and humid day like this.
I ordered the veggie burger set which came with a drink (warm, it melted the ice very quickly) and chips (standard fast food style). I also added some cheese bites, which seemed to be balls of cheese and potato mixed with a sour tomato and herb sauce, deep fried. These were uncomfortably close to vomit-scented, if I’m perfectly honest. However, the burger was very good. It had cheese, tomato, and onions in, with a slightly sweet and milky bun, and a thick (150g) veggie protein patty. I’d definitely be keen to have the burger again, just without any sides (plus at RM14.50 alone it’s decent value).
The food’s probably better than most fast food at 4Fingers, but it certainly wasn’t an enjoyable experience. We might get lucky in future, or we might get delivery or go elsewhere.
The largest chicken restaurant chains in region , till today Texas Chicken has opened 42th outlet in Malaysia and the latest outlet was open at KLCC on Wednesday 29th November 2017 . This New outlet will be a flagship for the brand as it is both the first in the global system to debut the new test concept of Tex Cafe gourmet coffee and dessert .
Reasons to visit Spring Garden KLCC: great live seafood selection; love their twist on the CNY classic with the Fortune Yee Sang; the boys would definitely reorder the Braised Diced Beef Tenderloin in Hot Pot; I would go for the Steamed Cod Fish in Nynonya Sauce and when wanting a bit of decadence, I’d order the Baked Fresh Water Prawns with Cheese.
While there are many ways to enjoy the various fishes at Spring Garden, the Giant Grouper Steamed Nyonya style (RM25++/100g) is a solid choice for those who loves touches of spicy lemak notes on freshly steamed fish. A dish that goes well with steamed rice, the fish is sublime with fresh sweetness of the tender and smooth flesh.
have to admit that the food was more than decent as all four dishes we had were well executed. But prices may be on the high side and it'll be even pricier if we take the portion size into consideration. We ordered two portions for each of our dishes but the portion size actually seems more like one portion (when compared to other places)...hehe! ;D So, if you're a small-eater or someone who loves petite portions, then the food here could be just right for you. For me, it's one of those 'once in a long while' places to visit :)
Overall, I enjoyed the spice and flavours of the authentic Malay dishes, but found them too salty for my palate. Perhaps if I had more rice to absorb the gravies. Definitely hard to keep to your diet here if you want to try all the nice and spicy curries!
Cili Kampung’s show-stealing Gulai Nangka with Pucuk Manis (RM35) won us over at first bite. The chunks of tender young jackfruit and leafy Sabah vegetable (sauropus androgynus) in coconut milk had such well-balanced flavours, we instantly went for repeat helpings.
【Du Viet】的宗旨是要讓食客吃的健康所以每一道菜都不含MSG和防腐劑,食客們用完餐後肯定不會感到口乾。
Met a friend at KLCC for a catch up chat so we went to Du Viet where it is nice and quiet. I ordered a plate of mixed rolls to share at MYR23.90+ (10% service charge, MYR26.30 nett). Quite tasty.
This is comfort food, warm rice, fluffy omelette, crispy chicken with Japanese curry. Something you can order for a quick meal without any complains. The only issue is they take some time to prepare their meal. This is the Ken Chan Curry at Signature Food Court KLCC.
O'Briens Irish Sandwich Cafe, also known as O'Briens, is an Irish franchise sandwich cafe chain founded in Ireland in 1988 by Brody Sweeney.
I agree with him, it is quite nice.
The Cuppucino I had wasn't too bad.
