A westernize restaurant.
The interior of the Cafe is modern and simple at the same time with hanging light bulbs and very laid back type of seating area, especially those on the second floor.
All dim sum looked tempting for me!
We particularly liked the Steamed Prawn Dumplings... we thought they did exceptionally well when it comes to Prawns. The Prawn filling was plump, juicy with an addictive bouncy-bite.
Multiple sauce that we can mixed for steamboat
Good Taste!
Finally - we select this steamboat restaurant
The place is not too big....just nice.
Tummy-filler was their signature Dong Bei Noodles, served with Minced Pork and crunchy diced Cucumber. The real soul to the dish was the Minced Pork- delicately seasoned right on the dot while the noodles were carefully cooked to the right texture. The Cucumber on the other hand, introduced another crunchy-juicy dimension to the dish; even better to go with their smoky Chili paste. We ended the meal with a memorable sweet treat- Sesame Bun. The Bun was served to us scorching hot; apply pressure and you will find the molten Sesame filling oozes out from the bun. The crust was nicely done- thin with a tawny crisp while the filling was carefully sweetened; it was jaw-droppingly good.
Each serving of the Mango Kakigori comes with fresh Mango and a small portion of Glutinous Rice. The accompanying sauce was Coconut Cream and Mango Jam, the overall combination was lovely and the texture was great. We love every bit of it but the ice melted too fast and without us noticing, it turned into water in a jiffy.
Me Melon’s Kakigoris are often served with a small dessert on the side.
To have some unusual wantan mee, drop by at Beng Soon Kopi Tiam, not too far away from KFC Raja Uda, Butterworth. Also know as Drawer Wantan Mee by off timers, the wantan mee is unusual as its thicker therefor more chewie and springy, more like eating the thick flat wantan noodles or the thick noodles use for KL style Hokkien Mee.
At Beng Seong the version of Nasi Lemak sold here, is the Chinese / Nonya Version, which is typically less sweet, and comes with Sambal Mince Dry Shrimp, there is also a verity of Dishes are available for you to customize your meal (Breakfast), for a more balance, healthier or unhealthier version, to your wish for the day.
Well the Hokkien Mee is comparable, where you eat will depends on what you want ...... the CKT here is ok, the Nasi Lemak looks tempting, and the Chai Kuey not bad. Good recommendations
Overall, my dining experience here is good, food here is decent, coffee is good, service is good, environment is awesome. I will definitely come back to try on their other food.
A newly open Japanese Cuisine Restaurant at Butterworth Business City Centre.
More options for seasoned Steamboat diners at Raja Uda, Guan Xian Lao Ma (灌县老妈砂锅串串) is one of the biggest names when it comes to Steamboat/ Hot Pot in Sze Chuan, China. The restaurateur obtained local franchisee license to operate an extended branch here... at Raja Uda Commercial City Centre, Butterworth (same row as Pentagon 5). The brand is known to dish out Sze Chuan Ma-La Spicy Hot Pot with Skewers... the same concept is being brought to the branch in Raja Uda as well. The restaurant is nicely decorated, step in the restaurant and you will be instantly teleported to China... even the stools, wall paper, lighting and tables; all resemble the characteristics of old Chinese decorations. The menu is fairly large, diners can either order by filling up the order form or simply head to the display fridge and help themselves with the skewers (Rm 1.80 per stick). There are of course, some standard items but only a handful of soup bases available.
Overall, Coffee Venture is a place worthy come for the coffee for a relaxing afternoon or evening, but the food may need more trial before a conclusive verdict can be placed.
Venture Coffee Raja Uda is a unique cafe for those who love the relaxing ambient for chitchat.
Environment inside Coffee Venture is nice and comfortable
What good here is their Koey Teow Soup, I like their Siew Bak (Roast Pork), and while my wife like their loh bak.
Overall the food taste here is slight sweet base and dear and me realize by looking around most of the customer here is order the dry type noodle. Dear and me will came back here again to evaluate their dry type noodle.
店内的鱼丸是卖点,粿条干及福建面干是两大主将,而鱼鳔面则是西刀林创新的自家品牌。 喜欢汤的,粿条汤和福建面也是选择之一。
We are following tight SOP to step into the restaurant...
What I like best is either their Dry Laimen, dry style, serve with a giant mince meat ball, and slices of Grilled Honey Pork and half boil egg, or their Pork Belly Laimen, serve with herbal soup, braised pork belly, and slightly undercook (Japanese Style) hard boil egg and their loh bak.
VERY DELIVIOUS...yummy yummy.....................
As far as freshness is concerned, Little June nailed it. We had a few types of their Sushi and found that the prices are generally on the higher side. The Sushi Rice was nicely seasoned with a hint of Vinegar but they could not really hold well and the Rice tends to break apart. Freshness was good though and the cuts were alright.
店内还有新鲜的三文鱼🍣 和三文鱼头 🐟价钱绝对超乎您想象🥳
MAMA BOWL MENU look very interesting for me...and yummy....I have seen all my lovely food - shrimp, tomyam, butter.............
This is my favorite Korea KimChi Pancake. Really taste solid and full of kimchi spicy smell.
BBQ in Love Cafe, Raja Uda - this cafe look very romantic
SUSHI YA RAJA UDA - Curry Ramen - just nice...not too sweet or not too spicy.
Sushi YA Raja Uda Curry Rice.....Yummy...Yummy.

Ong Lai Kitchen Raja Uda 旺来小厨 - 家常小饭。。。。。顶瓜瓜!!
风味家乡猪手,每次吃猪手都是RM30起跳,这里却只卖RM20
Always famous with ONE PERSON ONE FISH.
PRICE RANGE is reasonable.
How about One Fish per person for your meal? That may sound lavish but that's the norm for diners dining at Lan Je's place. The long-established (since 1978) name- Lan Je Steamed Tilapia (兰姐清蒸非洲鱼) from Rawang has finally opened its first branch in Penang (more than 13 branches across the nation)... at the bustling Jalan Raja Uda, Butterworth. It needs no elaborated menu, just a simple one that offers uncomplicated home-cooked dishes with their signature dish- Steamed Tilapia. Freshness is what they believe in and fortunately, the branch in Penang is able to live up that reputation, for serving some of the freshest catch in town. Ironically, the prices are well-maintained at unbeatable-low rate. The name has traveled far and attracted the attention of many gourmands; the past weekend at Lan Je's (Raja Uda branch) was extremely hectic. The restaurant opened at 5:30 pm (for dinner) but the place was already packed to the brim at 5:40 pm. If you intend to make a trip there in the near future, be sure to grab your seat as early as possible.
The café decorated in most simple and unique way.
Here's the location.
