There are a lot of different food from their menu, i try different food every time i am here and still enjoy all the food that i order so far.
One of the inspiring dish is Croissant Thailandese Chicken, a fusion dish featuring homemade lobak (meat rolls) sandwiched by croissant and dressed with unique Thai sauce that gives a balanced sweet and spicy filling. If you prefer a less spicy variant, try their Black Pepper Chicken instead.
The dishes were served in out of order: Blueberry Pie, Grilled Chicken and Wild Porcini Mushroom. It should have been Soup, Main and lastly Dessert. To make it worse, I ordered a glass of warm water. They didn't even serve me that even though the restaurant wasn't busy and I was charged for the glass of water. My fault too for not checking before paying :(
The environment here is comfortable and looks like a fine dining restaurant but there are not many seating place inside Teszta Resto.
Here's the location.
Nothing spectacular on the toppings but the braised Beef was a winning glory. The meat was beautifully cooked with flavors and addictive meaty texture.
The Salmon Kabuto Shioyaki is another dish which capture my attention. The delicious salmon delights where the salmon is perfectly grilled with salt. The hint of light saltiness combined with the light char taste is just so good that I am totally in love with it.
Sushi Ya (寿司屋) is a new chain of Japanese restaurants in Penang and Kedah.
You can definitely taste quality and passion in each of their pastry, not just some good looking cakes that is an utter disappointment.
And Dolce's Almond Croissant and Cream Cheese caught our attention; both were most flaky and crisp... almost shattered into pieces at the nudge of fork; the former choice registered a bold sweetness while the latter option offered a creamier bite... with a comforting salinity.
The Coffee Bean & The Leaf nestled in Solaria Square is a nice place for you to hang out and have a good time with as this place offers a great ambience as well.
The Nasi Lemak Chicken Rendang is special, instead of using normal fried chicken Village Kitchen switch things up by putting Chicken Rendang onto it. It goes really well with the Nasi Lemak.
Food here is tasty, I like every plate of food that I ordered.
There’s no other spots in Penang that gives such a modern twist to classic Malaysian favourites. Enjoy and goodbye!
Dozo Bayan Lepas - Perfect Place for Lunch at Bayan Lepas area.
Overall, environment here is very comfortable and service is good. Food serving portion is big too.
We thoroughly enjoyed the meal! This was truly a great first stop on Penang island.
Nevertheless, the Nasi Dalcha here is really awesome, in particularly its rich gravy. It packs a thick creamy sensation, probably due to lots of coconut being used to make the curry, which makes it goes well with the rice. Fried chicken is essentially good too. Memang sempoi laaaa....
One last bowl of noodles before I get to the Penang Airport. Right off the roadside a nice place to chow down. Choose your ingredients and noodles. Fried Fish, Fishballs and Veggies.
Simple food which are favorite for locals here in Penang.

One of the dish that the restaurant sings proud is Claypot Biryani, which is cooked using Basmati rice and concoction of 18 different spices. Served warm in the pot, the rice is soft and fluffy in texture, plus with perfect execution that each rice grains are well separated. Its distinct aroma can be scented inches away, triggering the drooling of saliva if you are seated close to the kitchen.
Environment here at Clay is good and their service is good too. Food serving is fast.
The signature Lemongrass Chicken on the other hand, fared better. It was something similar to Satay, with slightly bolder Lemongrass aroma. The noodles were dressed with Scallion Oil, light Soy sauce and a little Pork Lard. The flavors were pretty straight-forward but we were a little disappointed with the simplicity and lacked of excitement
Overall, the food here is acceptable, their service is good and food serving is fast.
The Set Lunch is a real bargain at the price RM 10.90, which a main is served along with a drink of choice. The selections are plenty and we had a Garlic Fried Rice with Teriyaki Chicken (Honey Lemon sauce). Both fried rice and chicken were alright, though the teriyaki chicken did not really taste like the real teriyaki.
The Tricolor Chicken Rice was one of their signature dishes... it was basically stir fried Chicken cubes with Soy sauce and topped with stir fried Cabbage and julienned Omelette. The flavor and seasoning was spot on, the combo was lovely either... and for the price of Rm 13, we thought it was a steal (not to mention the complimentary soup too)
I like dining here, the food is simple and tasty, environment is nice.
On the other hand, the Deep Fried Pork Belly (RM 15/small) is generous in serving size with a lot of pork slices. Marination was done on the point, though a tad more spices would have elevated this dish. If you are the type of person who enjoy fatty meat, then you will definitely enjoy the pork slices here.
their signature drink are name after Maple Leaf. Environment inside Finz Tea is comfortable and service is good.
