In short, a decent restaurant for Thai food. Spiciness takes a major role in many of the dishes here and is more spicy than many other Thai restaurant. Therefore, suggest to order wisely, get a balance of spicy and non-spicy food. Wash down with Thai Milk Tea, Soya Bean, Betagen (0% fat cultured milk), all imported from Thailand.
他们家的叉烧包也很不错, 包皮非常蓬松, 口感特别
他们家的猪肠粉非常顺滑, 但最得我心的是他们家的炸葱虾米, 很香~
Then order their Paper Wrap chicken that turns out to be fragrant, glistening with the sweet sauce to my liking and I guess good to have it along to pair with my cheong fun.
This is their famous curry mee. To me it taste like vegetarian curry mee. Taste is slightly mild, fragrant of coconut milk and a curry leave. A simple bowl of curry mee KL version. The set back is there is not much ingredient. comes with only taupok, siham and fish cake. @ RM 6
Leng Kee (Claypot) and Bah Kut Teh Center and the humble Porride Stall adjacent to the restaurant works perfectly well as a duo combo and provides some of the most comforting indulgence especially when they serve till late hours at night. When the sun goes down, the area is instantly filled with the night crowd. With tables and chairs set up by the road side, and stoves firing up with boiling pots of broths, soups, porridges, the place is very soon filled with patrons and it only gets busier as the night goes along.
Thanks to a special Cathay Pacific collab with eat X dignity and Green Monday, there’s a new plant-based menu to look forward to. To catalyse positive change for the people and communities, the collab aims to promote children and youth development in Malaysia, while supporting sustainable eating. This plant-based menu is available until Dec 31.
The food garnishing was quite pretty and the green curry laksa pasta seafood was to die for. It was spicy and thick and the price reasonable. The cafe was established by a reverent and seems to have connections with a lot of dignitaries.
Nasi Dagang, 14.90 ringgit. The Nasi Dagang was good, real delicious. It got me hooked right from the start. Check out their presentation – fancy in a local/traditional kindda way .. kan? Every item on the plate was good – the roasted chicken was tender and flavorful, the crackers provided that extra crunch, the pickled vegetable and then there was the gravy, tasty gravy. At first glance, thought it was peanut sauce because the texture resembled it but no one really eats nasi dagang with peanut sauce, so nope, it cannot be. Upon tasting it – it certainly was not peanut sauce, what it was was thick, sweet, flavorful gravy that complimented the rest of the items in this dish very well. I was delicious. Certainly a dish I would order again.
The range of food at Tiffin is very good, even if it wasn’t all quite as nice as it could have been. It’s also impressive to have so many trendy outlets in one place, meaning you can mix and match posh dishes, food court style. I also really liked the decor and setting, so forgive the minor food errors (ie chef choices I didn’t like) somewhat! Worth a go.
Some that caught my eye include The Bao Guys, featuring fluffy mantous sandwiched with everything from fried chicken to braised beef with spicy mala mayo; Taco King and its selection of authentic Mexican tacos; and Olivia’s Deli, which serves Valencian-style paellas. For alcoholic libations, visitors can head to Bar 44, while coffee lovers can indulge in cold brews and lattes from Kopenhagen. Will definitely plan a return visit some time soon!
Would we come back? Yes! We definitely want to come back and check out the other vendors
Peach, please! Peach Strudel here at Kenny Hills Bakers is our favourite! Crispy pastry with decadent cream and fresh peach. So yums!
Reasons to visit: relaxing neighbourhood vibe; craft beers; easy parking; our favourite dishes were Salted Egg Yolk Calamari, Penne Pesto, Seafood Aglio Olio, Hong Kong Roast Duck and do not miss the Salted Caramel Chocolate Tart!
总的来说,我不是三只小鸟的粉丝(不过,它的确是),但它确实成为聚会的好地方,并且拥有体面的茶杯。
Me and a bunch of friends hung out at Three Little Birds Cafe middle of last year. It was voted as one of the top insta-worthy cafe in KL. But we honestly thought it was overrated. Not only was the food horrendous, the cafe itself was really empty and lacked aesthetic.
Food/Drinks: 7 – Coffee was very acidic/sour (although white coffee could be better), the cake was great. Environment: 8 – Comfortable environment with quite a beautiful “scenery” outside of the cafe. Very cosy and suitable for either going by one self, or with others. Cleanliness: 7 – It was alright. Service: 8 – Good and efficient service. Cafe staff gives advice if you do not know which coffee to pick.
From its implicative name, you might already have gotten a good guess that this café does roast its own beans which makes it stands out from its other equally notable peers, whom already in the coffee bean roasting business for quite awhile now. Nevertheless, each technique and roasting style certainly has its own unique charms.
Macadamia Cheesecake (MYR 17) Simply divine especially the fresh crisp of the nuts!
“Take the spiral stairs, up into suspended space: light trails on coffee.”- a ThokohMakan haiku. [Pork-free] Curio is a newly-minted cafe off Jalan Ipoh.
If you’re looking for a place to chill out with friends, we can’t recommend this place more. The place is bright and comfortable, with plenty of baked goods and main meals served.
Personally, the filling wasn’t actually to my liking as I find the veggies were overly wilted hence its slimy texture kind of disintegrated from the melted cheese. Perhaps replacing it with wild mushrooms would be a better choice as these fungi tends to blend in better in a more harmonious way with any toasted cheese. Just my two cents. Nevertheless, the sourdough toastie itself was great!
Every now and then a foodie place just grabs one's attention. It could be just a simple place where the food is so memorably good that one will recall it easily. Such a place is TasteBud.
One of the highlights is the Nasi Kerabu (RM 10.90). The Nasi Kerabu comes awesomely delicious where they use the blue pea leaf plucked from their garden itself which is organic and pure. The bowl of the hearty blue rice is accompanied with the tofu with soy sauce, vegetarian chicken in the creamy curry sauce and sides with the condiments at the side.
Reasons to visit The Black Cat Café: An entire menu of vegetarian options packed full of local flavours; an extensive drinks menu; don’t miss the Masala Tea or a Broski for those wanting a good pick-me-up; must try the vegan eggs, Nasi Kerabu and, of course, the Chocolate Peanut Butter Slice is a dream.
Penang Jawa Mee. It is a must to top up with prawn fritters, lime, potato, slices of taufu and thick gravy in yellow noodle only. What is missing is only crushed chunky peanuts. Love it as the gravy is thick and fragrant. The consistency of food is there as I dine at least once or twice a week over here. @ RM 6.50
This Pan Mee is very nice, only hand torn version available, which works great for me, located in Hoi Kee coffee shop in Segambut, opening morning to around 2pm.
[Pork-free] Princeps offer Euro-inspired cuisine with a view of Bukit Tunku’s green field and swaying trees from the patio.
Overall, we enjoyed the food at Princeps Bistro The Stories of Taman Tunku. We recommend the Cheese Gnocchi and Princeps Club Sandwich with their ‘magic’ coffee if you plan to visit Princeps Bistro The Stories of Taman Tunku. Please make a reservation rather than trying your luck to walk in as this place is packed with people.
Price: RM22.90++ per session per person – you get about 5-7 bundles of somen and once a pink bundle of somen slides down, that signifies the last pick.
Having settled ourselves at our table facing the pond, we were recommended the Chef’s latest signature dishes. This being the Chinese New Year period, we started off with their Thai Yee Sang with Norwegian Salmon. Quite unlike the traditional Chinese version, Samira’s rendition comprises a combination of fresh and pickled vegetables, fried crunchies, fried beancurd cubes and a slightly spicy, sweet and tangy dressing. It’s certainly very refreshing with an appetizing Thai slant to it! Besides salmon, there’s another version served with jellyfish. Yee Sang is available till 2 March 2018.
The restaurant specializes in European cuisine and wants to eat authentic and authentic European cuisine.
非常隐秘,但系依然高朋满座
Overall, it was a super good lunch for us. Everything is perfect from the food to the service. Both of us loved it. Second Visit? A Big YES from us. Sure, drop by again to try their Lunch Buffet in the future.
Overall, the food Restoran Makanan Laut Zhen Liew Siang Sentul is really good and the pricing here are very reasonable. Remember to book your table in advance to avoid disappointment. If you plan to walk in, prepare to wait. I will come back here at Restoran Makanan Laut Zhen Liew Siang Sentul again one day.
