The Aburi Mala Charshu Kombu Noodles was recommended by Small Potatoes Make The Steak Look Bigger. The noodles tasted like normal thicker springy noodles, and the charshu was sweet and very lightly numbing spicy, with a bit of bite.
While spicy food like this is not often my ideal choice of food selection, it will be unlikely that I will be back again for it.
At last I have tried this. Nothing earth shattering, but good hearty spicy tofu with just a bit of bite, and qq, savoury and spicy dan dan noodles.
The time-limit was good to prevent us from over-ordering and over-eating.
Fans of the ramen place can rejoice because they have launched a Hearty Shrimp broth made from big prawns baked, hand ground till fine and simmered for more than eight hours with premium conpoy, clams and spices for more oomph.

Had an unexpectedly decent teh with milk served in a beer mug. The hot tea had the right amount of condensed milk and creaminess that I thought was enjoyable.
Overall, we would say that although the food was not the most fantastic around, we still give props to Swee Lee for adopting such a refreshing concept to revitalise what used to be a plain old music instrument store.
Since Swee Lee Social Club is a music café, I thought the theme could have been stronger.
The food is decent here, considering the limited options in the “secret menu”; great for those who are just looking for a light bite to recharge.

We though well of the Morganfield’s Sumptuous Christmas Feast 2017 and will surely recommend the Crackling Pork/Crispy Golden Pork, Candide’s Bacon and Morgan’s Christmas Feast.

Overall, I remember why I had such little recollection of Nando’s as their chicken really does not leave an impression. Lacking in charred flavour, I would opt for Kenny Rogers anytime although the one thing which differentiates Nando’s from their competitors is the Peri peri sauce. I am just not sure if I want to visit a restaurant just for their sauces
the steamed pork rib also always quite good.

The lemon chicken was a good-sized portion for two persons. Crisp deep-fried chicken with a sweetish lemon sauce. The sauce was not too sweet to overpower the chicken.
Overall, Gan Yakitori @ Star Vista remains the cosy Japanese izakaya styled restaurant in Buona Vista. It is definitely a good place to have lunch or to have drinks with some of the grilled yakitori items.
