The service here is good and the food serving is pretty quick too. For the pricing, it is quite reasonable (café pricing) and the taste of the food is good. If you are at Damai Perdana Cheras, you can consider checking out Bai Wei Kopitiam. This is not a sponsored post.
Overall, I'd must say the ingredients at Pot Temptation Seafood are really fresh and they have invested a lot of effort in making sure the quality of their ingredients.
煲上瘾的火锅真的会让人吃上瘾的!
这里还蛮受父母的欢迎的,周末还常常被包场来办派对。建议过来之前先预约,或关注他们在面子书的公告。
Friendsmily Steamboat House was opened on the 2nd November 2015, located in Cheras. The place is quite spacious with simple interior of tables and colourful chairs. Friendsmily runs a self-service concept. Upon entering the steamboat house, a chiller could be spotted with all kinds of steamboat ingredients such as fish balls, prawn balls, dumplings, wonton and so forth. All of the ingredients are made in-house by their chef who has 10 years of experience in the kitchen. Set lunch for four pax at just RM88! Comprising curry chicken, stir fried vegetables, steamed fish, otak-otak and rice. Delicious and filling. Isn't it worth it to have your lunch here with your colleagues?
If you enjoy eating steamboat and love seafood, you would certainly have a good time at Friendsmily Steamboat House , especially with their low prices . I was so wish that their have a branch in damansara , I surely will visit them atleast once a week .
Each plate is fried individually and comes with thin flat noodles, juicy cockles, two large prawns, crunchy beansprouts, chives, egg and of course, crispy pork lard (chu yau char). We recommend that you go for extra spicy 加辣 (that's how we like it!). There's also an option to add-on cockles (siham). Lots of wok hei and very tasty! Definitely the best char koay teow we've tried in Cheras!
Earlier this week, we were in the vicinity since I wanted to get santan (coconut milk) for our mango sticky rice dessert. There was a Thai restaurant I wanted to try, but it has closed down so we walked over to Restoran Sweetland to see what stalls were opened. Right at the entrance was a noodle stall - there were pictures of the noodles dishes they offer here along with their English names below it. We placed our order for two noodles dishes and went inside to look for a table.
First and last time. So not coming back. No way. Not in a million years. Heck no. Ok, I think you get the message.....wakakakaka! :D
PENANG WHITE CURRY MEE We had the Penang White Curry Mee @ RM6.00. It came ‘white’ with absolutely no curry chili paste whatsoever. A spoonful of the curry chili paste is actually sufficient but if you like your white curry mee thicker, just add any amount of additional paste into your bowl of noodles to suit your liking. Everything about this Penang White Curry Mee is right here except the missing pork blood cubes.
Overall, I’d give Green Lane Noodles a solid 7/10 for what we had. I think they are doing a good job considering the number of dishes they have to prepare. There are a couple of other things we did not try which include lobak and koay teow th’ng. Recommended to try if you need a fix of Penang food. I’d definitely be a regular here if only they weren’t so far away.
Well, their signature here is slightly different as it is Pumpkin Abacus Beads Fried to perfection, not over cook, yet the handmade abacus is soft, chewy and a nice texture for a mouthful bite.
Satay was damn good. Tender & juicy chicken meat grilled at perfection. Most recommended to try in Restaurant PC Chai.
Verdict: The nasi lemak ayam is pretty good. Beware, lots of smokers indoors in the restaurant.
Melur Thai is definitely a great place to get our Malay food fix, at a very reasonable price and in a comfortable, clean environment. Can't wait to come back!
I had the dry loh shi fun fish ball noodle (RM6.50 for small) - the loh shi fun noodles is topped with some minced pork and comes with only three fishball in a bowl of soup. The noodles was tasty enough, though I wished they could be a little more generous with fishballs, like this place here. You can add-on fishballs RM7 for 10.
The bak zhang (RM5.50) is moist and flavorful, and comes with a chunk of pork belly, mushrooms and black-eyed beans. Very yummy.
Lao Bai Xing is an authentic Chinese restaurant serving authentic Chinese dishes in a traditional yet modern setting.
Beef Short Rib Absolutely tender, the rib was braised to a perfect texture and glazed with Mediterranean BBQ sauce which adds a great depth of flavour.
Anyone loves wine? Raise your hands up because I wanna introduce a new casual yet stylish dining restaurant to you guys. Lately, I’m in lo...
The lei cha comes with a basil and mint smoothie (yes, that bowl of green liquid), which you pour over your rice before you enjoy. The rice bowl itself comes with a variety of vegetables, salted radish, peanuts, tofu and sesame seeds. I instantly felt healthier when I finished my bowl.
Overall, it was a good quick lunch for us. Good service and reasonable price for a fair portion.
