Dandy Modern Food is a specious and classy restaurant.
I love Hummus very much but i can’t hardly find a good one in Penang, glad to have a big bowl of Hummus here and it taste real good.
Dandy Lamb - Smokey aromatic rice with roasted lamb and tabbouleh salad (about MYR 24). I like the taste of the lamb in this dish.
Squid In Chef's Superior Sauce is another attractive dish. The squid is cut in a criss-cross pattern in order to take full advantage of the savory sauce.

Their ramen is cooked without any additional salt or MSG, just like how you get back in Japan.
Here's the location.
It seems like they have been quite ungenerous with the broth. Though the meaty flavor was bold, it did not really hit us, as though something was missing. For certain Ramen, diners can choose the spicy level. We had Level 2 for the Supreme Seafood Ramen and did not feel it was spicy enough. The dish was disappointingly average.
The Little Chef certainly storms up the kitchen presenting a delicious menu for those with big appetite.
If you so happen pass by the area, it is not an experience you'll regret having
The Chicken Chop is good but wish to have more Pico De Gallo at the side.
We wanted something light to start with, the Beef Ragu Taco appeared to be one of the perfect choices. Spiced minced Beef served with julienned Lettuce, Tomatoes and Coleslaw wrapped in a heated up Taco; lovely combination and the seasoning was just spot on.
Nyonya Willow serve some really authentic peranakan food, though the choice from their menu is not much but those available is good enough to get your Nyonya food craving fix.
Here's the location. They'll be moving to somewhere near Arang Coffee in August 2017.
Nyonya Willow is definitely one of the most secretive cafes/ restaurants, not only that it does not have any signage, it is nestled in a terrace house... within the secluded neighborhood of Taman Tunas Damai (Bayan Lepas). As the name might have hinted, Nyonya Willow runs like a private kitchen, in a residential. The menu changes regularly- depending on what they could source for the day, the dishes vary. It offers some Nyonya delights as well as some favorite Malaysian delicacy such as Nasi Lemak. All ingredients are prepared in house. The setting is homey as well and might not be too accommodating for larger groups. Prices are however, veering towards the higher side but given the fact that they cook in a small scale and every dish is home-cooked, the price is justifiable. Taman Tunas Damai is near to the newly operated SMK Heng Ee Bayan Lepas branch or where Honda Car Service center is located.
Food and Music in air condition room is just awesome ! The food here is HALAL .. !
Papisz Cafe is not a cafe where you can easily spot if you don't know the exact location of where to find it.
If you are a cheese fanatic, you should definitely check out the mouthwatering dishes such as Chicken or Fish Parmigiana doused with torched cheese. Their homemade meatballs is one of the best you can find in the town with its bursting flavour and juicy texture.
after trying it, i feel that Syed Bistro is a place worth my time writing this post, haha !
We had a Fat Piglet (RM 15.90), which appears to be an upgraded version of Rics Original Pork Burger (RM 10.90) with an addition of cheddar cheese, bacon, omega-3-egg on top of the usual pork patty, caramelized onions and Ric's sauce. We feel the pork patty is nicely executed by having nice seasoning and texture, which further enhanced by the unique aroma by the decent quantity of caramelized onions. The semi-cooked egg yolk of omega-3-egg also contributed a nice creaminess to the overall taste.
Ric's Burger自制的猪肉内馅真的超赞的,外皮酥酥脆脆,特别是那个边边,超crunchy的!
Personally, we love the Kuih Talam flavour as well as the Blue Chrysanthemum flavour.
Yuzu Ice Blended is refreshing and there is some sour taste to it making it appetizing, it opens up your appetite to eat more, haha !
There are LIVE Lobster / Prawn / Crab in this restaurant. So - you always go chance to eat the FRESH SEAFOOD here
RotiTiam at Bandar Sunway Tunas,Bayan Lepas, Penang also has their own version of this overflowing-lava-cream cake
Ben's Diner Restaurant is a small, homey restaurant that serve western food.
This is also a newer outlet of the Wine Shop in Pulau Tikus.
One of Chillis And Cheese's signature dishes- the Chilli Mi is a Nasi Lemak in noodle version. Spaghetti was used in this case... and stir fried in Sambal, served with the standard Nasi Lemak condiments like Peanuts, Anchovies, minced Chicken meat, Cucumbers and some Egg. The flavors were good and the Sambal possessed the mandatory chili punch but we would prefer the Spaghetti to be slightly more al-dente
The next time you’re looking for gourmet pork-free burgers while in Penang, drop by at Jomburgeria for a jolly good burger time.
Food here is tasty and the environment is great too, plus, service is good .
If you are a serious Cronut fan, then Black Door Coffee & Tea is your spot. The latest addition at Arena Curve, Bayan Lepas (opposite to Arang Coffee) serves up some Cronut-related sweet treats but that's not all, there are an array of the usual Cafe fare as well as some home-made pastries and cakes. While the name- Black Door does paint a picture on the exterior, we certainly did not expect the interior decor to be in completely dark shade as well. The atmosphere is casual with a sense of industrial vibe. But the fact that the cafe offers full-fledged menu- from appetizer to main course and dessert so for those who are working nearby (Bayan Lepas) or happen to find yourself wandering about the neighborhood, the cafe is worth-visiting.
