very good lunch we concluded and we will be back!
For those residing in the North-east, Leong Ji Seafood is worth checking out for a causal family meal.
All in all, I didn’t really love the food here that much but I liked the atmosphere and environment.
Although the side dishes were disappointing, I would make a trip back here for the fish and chips.
Service at Big Fish Small Fish is largely self-service. Ordering, payment, and collection of orders is done over the counter.
we all happy diners..great dinner and wonderful brotherhood time together.
Overall, I was satisfied with the quality of food, service, and ambience of Seoul Good.
Overall, at such a wallet friendly price point, we would consider the food served at Seoul Good Dessert & Coffee decent. The exception is the Bingu, a little pricey.
I agree that the meal portion is minimal for some choices in terms of the pricing. Overall, its an average fare.
Maruhachi Donburi & Curry, known for their restaurant-quality specialty Tonkatsu, will be opening their eighth outlet (and their first in the East) in Bedok at Blk 204 Bedok North St 1 on 1st May 2022.
Look at the thickness of the meat, isn't the proportion of batter of right amount to it? Upon typing out this, I'm already drooling and thinking if I should head down to one of their outlet and have it for my next meal.

Whisk and Paddle is a Punggol Waterway Riverside Cafe offering all-day breakfast, a wide Bistro-style menu, pastries, desserts and drinks
Overall I would recommend a visit to this cafe. The ambience is really there, even on a crowded weekend evening! It's very relaxing to even be in that area, not just dining in this cafe. Request for a table by the side if the weather is good. Food wise, my friends and I concluded that we'll be back to eat the Mac and Cheese, waffles and pizza! Because we saw some other tables having that and it looked yummy!
So if you are thinking of venturing out to the North-Eastern part of our island, then Whisk & Paddle is indeed worth a visit. It is family-friendly and spacious for the little ones to run around in the day, and transforms into a laid-back waterhole in the evenings where friends can wind down with a bottle of ice-cold beer accompanied by some bar bites. And though the inconvenience of getting here might be a drawback for some, I personally think that its obscurity makes this cafe all the more alluring and charming.
Paradise Hotpot is the latest concept from paradise group. Paradise hotpot newly open at newly renovated compass one mall.
Paradise Hotpot also serves up fresh ingredients and with the same wide selections we have previously enjoyed at Beauty.
14 different soup bases might be a draw for those who prefer variety but even then, i still prefer a big singular pot divided into sections to accommodate a few types of soup.
The prawn noodles had a nice good flavour. The slightly red soup had good sedimentation, and was sweet, umami, prawny, and spicy, filled with flavours from the pork, prawn, prawn head, dried shrimps and shallots. The prawns were bouncy, sweet and flavourful. Really quite good, with a long half an hour queue to boot.
Both the soup and dry versions were equally good.
The Place It is not often that I get excited about hawker food in Sengkang, but the Big Prawn Noodle stall at Compassvale Lane got me excited after seeing Misstamchiak’s IG post. The 6 months…
SEORAE Korean Charcoal BBQ has introduced the new Hangari Dry-Aged Meat! Each meat is grilled to perfection using binchotan!
I finally had a chance to check out the hawker center at the new One Punggol community hub (1 Punggol Drive). It's pleasantly spacious and new, although many of the food stalls are branch extensions of other places.
White Restaurant (also fondly known as ‘The Original Sembawang White Beehoon’ Restaurant) is ringing in the Year of the Ox with auspicious offerings at its six outlets islandwide.
Enjoy all things sourdough when you make a trip to Anna’s, a gorgeously tranquil cafe located in Punggol with hearty creations to enjoy! Read more.
We were certainly impressed with what we have had in general, and service was pretty decent as well.
I cleared this bowl quickly, but next time, I'll get the shio.
My porcini version above arrived in a bit of a sloppy state, but was still the salty, punchy thing that I was looking for, especially with their skinny soba-like noodles.
Zoey’s Diner is a refreshing addition to the stodgy food scene in Sengkang.
Moist, tender and flavourful beef yakiniku with sweet savoury sauce, and smoky and tasty chicken yakitori, with a perfect and rich onsen egg. For sure nicer than Yoshinoya, and quite a nice version that I will go back for.
This is a cool home-based business, with those marinated cockles above being their speciality. I was quite happy to find that they weren't heavily garlicked despite drowning in that brown fluid in the background.
Recommended by Johor Kaki, with quite a long queue at lunchtime on a Sat. The wanton mee came with black sauce in a bowl. The wantons here were really plump and smooth, and well marinated and peppery inside. The wiry noodles here were a bit soft, and the thick black sauce was more sweet than savoury. The char siew was sweet and tender, and the soup sweet and peppery. Not a bad bowl aside from the overdone noodles.
