It’s an Chinese Foods Court. This is a typical Malaysia Chinese corner with many food stalls operating in it. Various food on offer : mixed rice, prawn mee, clay pot chicken rice & etc…
One of the must try here is their Yong Tau Fu. The Yong Tau Fu in Selayang Jaya brings you with affordable price and wide variety. Priced at RM 1.20 per piece, their yong tau fu comes with the generous ingredients. You can choose the choices from the chilly, taufu, lady fingers and many more. They also have the fried items that also comes addictive and to our favourites as well.
This restaurant brings you with loads of delicious menu that you would love includes the Mee Yoke Lim{ Loh Mee & Prawn Mee}
Famed for their chicken rice, Lim Chicken Rice brings you with their tender and moist bbq chicken,. The chicken is freshly made daily and the taste is pretty good.
Here's the location.
Curry Fish (RM 30) One of the signatures here is the curry fish where the curry fish is served with chunky meat as well as the thick and yet light spicy curry. The ingredients come pretty fresh and I could easily finish my bowl of rice just with the curry alone.
Yummy, yummy Curry Mee with slice char siew !!! Price : RM 7.00
♥ Verdict: Total bill came to RM53.80, included a pot of Chinese tea which I thought was quite reasonable and wallet friendly for a Dim Sum establishment with a simple (less exclusive) setting like this. Overall, the food we had was just quite ordinary and probably did not manage to lure us to a second visit. Dim Sum options at my disposal are THIS and THIS, which suit our taste bud better.
A lot of delicious looking food here, and they are pretty good. Recommended.
My Personal Opinion If you're looking for a good Chinese nasi lemak with pork on the menu, a sambal and rendang that can give the Malay ones a run for their money....this is a worthy contender, for sure. It was certainly a lot better than many of the Chinese-made nasi lemak I've tried so far.
My Personal Opinion My husband is glad to have found another worthy spot for curry laksa while I'm glad to have a place where I can have a good lala beehoon....and curry laksa as well. Can't find many places that offer lala beehoon...and even less places that offer a good one. And for the prices we paid, the portions here are more than generous.
Verdict: Both Lala Meehoon and Curry Noodles that we tried were scored up to my expectation and Keng Nam Hai definitely a worthy addition to my favourite Kopitiam list.
Curry Mee is one of the staples for Malaysians, and we're glad to have found another curry mee spot in Kuala Lumpur. This Curry Mee stall is located in Restoran Keng Nam Hai in Kepong. It is truly a hidden gem, patronized by locals.
Shopping for fruit for Chinese New Year. The prices are indeed cheaper with a good variety.
But honestly, every dish we tried here exceeded our expectations and even the simple stir-fry vegetables were executed well.
这一家的菜肴我个人觉得相当不错
Verdict: As I mentioned, I like the food here which has strong flavour and aroma that perfectly suit my taste bud. I have no hesitation in recommending Luckypot to you if you’re fond of spicy and strong flavour food.
Reasonably price and quite good, i especially like their chawan-mushi
For breakfast, my friends and I always meet up at Foo Fee in Kepong. Foo Fee is famous among Kepong locals, especially for its nasi lemak with fried chicken and set meals, which are affordable. That is why I brought my family there to taste the Foo Fee. My family enjoys coffee that has a rich scent.
Nasi Lemak with Homemade Soy Milk (RM12.80). The Nasi Lemak was the usual. The sambal though, that was different, it was Tom Yum flavored and I guess that was what made it special. I liked it a whole lot that I requested for extra sambal – twice. That flavored sambal + the crunchy fried chicken + kacang + egg + anchovies = yum!
Verdict: Food prepared by Vietnamese and there was a group of Vietnamese customers in the restaurant when we was there, the authenticity of the food was unquestionably. Good portion, good flavours and reasonable priced, we certainly love to make a return to further their menu.
Overall it was a good meal, just adequate for the three of us. The next time we come here, we won't make the mistake of coming here half full, it will be on an empty stomach so that we can savour more of their authentic dishes.
Overall it was a good meal, just adequate for the three of us.
♥ Verdict: A wallet friendly and satiated meal indeed. For those who prefer Teochew style BKT with lighter flavour and you’re nearby, this Hing Kee or Heng Kee at Bandar Menjalara definitely worth trying.
Overall, we really enjoyed both dishes here at Restoran Pan Heong.
So do check it out if you happen to be around, as this is one of the better Sarawak Noodle I have eaten so far. The nasi lemak stall at the other end is also popular and worth trying if you fancy wild boar curry and fried chicken.
Priced at RM8 a plate, the Pad Thai is worth every cent. To begin with, they are not stingy with the toppings as I counted seven prawns in total. That’s almost triple of what you usually get at other places.
