Overall I have enjoyed the new menu at Joyden Treasure. The refreshed menu has definitely given their customers and me more reasons to visit again.
Joyden Treasures offers some of the best Chinese cuisine in Singapore, serving a wide variety of dishes that are suitable for family gatherings, business meetings, catching up with friends and colleagues.
Overall, it was an interesting and sumptuous Chinese New Year meal. We are glad that Pomelo Pith take centre stage in this year celebration in Joyden Concepts. Kudos to the team at Joyden Concepts to keep inventing these delicious dishes.
Coca Fragrant Laksa Hotpot Review by Chubby Botak Koala, Coca steamboat buffet review, coca steamboat buffet menu, Coca Hua Diao Phoenix Soup,
It is a delicious creation from COCA Restaurant. The flavours are robust, the ingredients are fresh and the broths are very generous.
Overall, it was a pleasure having a Thai steamboat at home.
I've been told about this place - and have passed by this place - many times, and yet was only able to try it tonight (2 Stadium Walk #01-04, 9277-7519).
Thai Village opened its first Thai Village Restaurant in Singapore in 1991, and have since expanded their regional capabilities to set a high standard
The new Ando restaurant is a good casual dining restaurant. It has a welcoming and pleasant space, offers an interesting variety of food at reasonable prices and has good service.
うなばら Unabara Grilled Fish is a new casual dining restaurant in Leisure Park Kallang. It specializes in the traditional Grilled Fish Teishoku and is a pleasant place to enjoy a balanced and satisfying meal.
Overall, the food at Brewerkx was surprisingly good. The place is spacious and quite stretched out.
The restaurant’s ambiance accommodates up to 120 diners, with open and spacious seating, including private dining rooms for more intimate gatherings.
I enjoyed my meal at Song Yue, and it is nice to see a wallet-friendly restaurant which focuses on Taiwanese dishes, and yet execute them well. The extensive menu only means I need to be back again to try some of the dishes which I did not manage to this time.
主打和风洋食在日本餐馆相当扑鼻,由日本厨师推出迎合日本人口味的西洋料理。
The cheeseburger had a soft bun and a nice thick coarse grind patty that was slightly charred, smoky, moist and beefy, which paired well with the cheese, raw onions, caramelised onions, pickle and nice tangy sauce. The fries were also good. Very nice burger.
It is nice to see modern concepts by young hawkers such as Blackgoat in our hawker centres. I like the whole charcoal grill concept and it is also great that the team changes its dishes from time to time so that repeated customers get to try something different each time. For myself, I would love to give the cheeseburger a try next.
All in all, it was a good experience new kind of food being introduced into the hawker centre and also supporting the young hawkers.
Very nice. The ingredients in the pork, chicken or beef sets were presented in a box, and were substantial and fresh. Add-ons like pork liver and dumplings were tasty and affordable. Soup was clear and subtly flavourful. Sauces had kick.
Overall, One Pot offers home-style steamboat, but with premium ingredients. Reasonable pricing, friendly service, nostalgic location and enjoyable food. One Pot is one to return for.
What stood out for One Pot is its value for money hotpot with quality ingredients.
If you want something different from the usual fast food or hawker food and yet wallet friendly, OmoOmo is a good option. Its Korean-Japanese fusion dishes are palatable and affordable. The OmoOmo Takeaway Bento is a good value deal.
Clearly, this restaurant is a popular lunch destination.
The food was well prepared and nice enough but there was no innovative fusion which resulted in something new and exciting.
Patience is required if you are joining the queue. Overall Feng Ji Kway Chap tasted above standard and the price is relatively on the friendlier side. I won't mind having them again if I do not have to wait for a long time.
This stall is not one of the top rated Kway Chap by most food articles but I actually will return for it. It is very reasonably priced, and the flavour is simple yet very comforting.
The Suki-Ya buffet consists of unlimited beef, pork, and chicken, along with a plethora of healthy veggies at their salad bar.
Dining in an open-concept restaurant does take away some marks for ambience.
A stone’s thrown away from Stadium MRT and near The Cage, this nameless coffee stall sells 50 cents kopi-o!
We had visited A-One Claypot House previously (you can read about out visits here and here to see the other dishes we had tried). We are happy that with A-One Claypot House Takeaway & Delivery, we can now also enjoy its reasonably priced simple comfort food at home.
We stumbled upon Ji Xian at Wave Mall while looking for some lunch. Me, being a dim sum guy and all, decided to give it a go.
The wantons were generous with thin smooth silky skin and nice and tasty meat fillings. The texture of the noodles tended towards soft with a hint of bite.
He is a Cordon Bleu-trained chef and he has the abilities to execute these dishes well but somehow it just did happen this time. He is a really nice chap nonetheless and he deserved a chance to do well at this stall. I might just go back after the hype dies down.
