Noodle texture here is certainly different. abit chewy, slightly fatter and certainly the sauce that they have is one of its kind. Unique yet pretty good. Wan ton size here is slightly bigger compare to KL too, in a normal traditionally wan tan mee per plate. Adding their own chili sauce is abit unique but still prefer the original taste which is better. Simple and direct.

Another unique point for ‘Chop See Kee Wanton Mee’ is it is in creamy colour while most of the Wantan Mee is in black colour. This is because the sauce of Wantan Mee is made with the soy sauce, lard and chili sauce.
I think the only possible way to describe kuey chap would be that it is a dish that utilises every single possible part of a pig (meat, intestines, even the blood!) and mixes it in with a clean tasting soy sauce based broth to concoct a delicious combination.
The oyster sauce here is not the same as that of Penang Street in Penang. The scorpion is a large triangle, the soup is more fragrant, and the side dishes are also varied. It is delicious with spicy sauce!
Kuay Chap is actually a rice sheet which is soft & smooth. It was so smooth that it keeps slipping out of my spoon. It also has got a good bite of texture in mouth and served in good bowl of broth which are heavily cooked for hours with their inhouse secret herbs and braised broth. When they served the Kuay Chap, they also topped it with some generous pinch of fried shallots.

I'd totally recommend Lontong! It's unlike other place, it's tasty and tak muak at all. The sambal is also tasty!
