The Kam Heong Chicken here is da bomb. It is a tad pricy – 20 ringgit but it tasted good. Kam Heong is all about the chicken and prawn paste. Most often, you can hardly taste the paste but here though, not only would you taste it in the gravy, there were plenty of dried prawn bits that provided a nice texture to this dish. The taste of lemongrass and curry leaf was also prevalent. It was lovely. The gravy was thick and had a mixture of flavors evident from the variety of items used, yummy!

Lychee Cupcake, 10 ringgit. The cupcake was ummmm rather unusual in flavor, it certainly took some getting use to. Normally, I would have gone for their chocolate, peanut butter or even their coffee cupcake but I was told that this particular flavor was their popular one. Would I order it again though? Not this particular one. The texture and all was awesome but for me – lychee and cupcake, no way. It is their popular cupcake but I do not take a fancy to it. I do however look forward to giving their peanut butter and chocolate version a try.

A slice of strawberry tart at MYR 15 nett. The strawberry tart is tasty because it uses dark chocolate which is not that sweet but has a nice deep rich chocolate taste.

I especially loved their pumpkin parathal. It had the usual sweetness that comes with pumpkin while also spicy. You can eat it on its own or have it with rice, it is delicious either way. Their payasam was da bomb, real delicious. There were tiny bits of wheat – sago lookalike that was chewy and it complimented the thick sweetness of the payasam real well. Yum!

On that evening, we get to sample two of the dishes and I will first talk about the Seared Smoked Duck with U.S. Lattice Fries. I like the U.S. Lattice Fries served on the side due to its crispiness. The seared smoked duck sandwich too was good. The duck meat was juicy and tender, slightly toward the sweet side but it's well balanced with the fries that came together.

The queue starts approximately about 12pm during lunch hour. The food replenishes very quickly due to the demand - especially the vegetables. Very simple Indian economy rice which is definitely better than some pretentious Nasi Kandar. One portion of chicken, two portions of vegetable and their curry is enough.

We order both Chicken and mutton to try it out and I find that mutton is the best option. Love the small pieces chunks which is just nice to bite on each spoonfull. Love the curry spices mild after taste of it as it is pretty fragrant. One thing is lacking is the spiciness. Just of hint of it at the moment.

The specialty here is their Mutton Briyani. Very huge portions and I would say that it is good to feed two people. Prices are very reasonable since it is a set up that mainly caters for the foreigners The Briyani rice was so tasty and I did not even need the gravy that was provided. The mutton chunks were so soft and tender as well. If I were to rate this Briyani, I shall definitely give it 8/10.

Smores, 7 ringgit (per scoop) Yuuuuuummmmmmmmmm !! That is all I have to say about Smores. It was da’ bomb. It was decadent, milky, pleasantly sweet and a tad crunchy from the nuts in it. I liked it so much that I plan to get a whole tub of it when I visit them next.
