Decent Tong Sui and Snacks. Beancurd Gingko Barley (RM 7) is okay, but I prefer more texture rather than blended. Onde onde and Sticky Rice are acceptable.
We were really pleased with the meal here, and would love to return to try the other cuts and sot bap.
Snack & dessert at a lamp shop in Sri Petaling #malaysiafoodie
Snack is nice, coffee is average, environment is interesting.
Overall, we loved the food at The Vee by Teochew Kitchen, the Private Dining Sri Petaling. We never knew Teochew food is so flavourful and interesting. On top of that, their food prices are reasonable and affordable despite being a private dining restaurant. To be honest, we are planning to revisit this restaurant again in the future to check out some of the food that we missed. The Vee by Teochew Kitchen Private Dining is definitely the hidden gem of Sri Petaling.
The ambience of the restaurant was nice, beautiful Chinese Kopitiam concept, blend with heritage malay historical background, tudor style architecture. The thumbs up are for the spacious dining area, interesting mash up of Malaysian decor.
I enjoyed eating the Fried Fish Noodles In Creamy Soup, which comes with a huge portion of deep-fried fish fillets while Fish Paste Noodles In Clear Soup was equally as delicious as bouncy tender fresh fish paste in flavourful soup cooked with cabbage and tomatoes.
This braised minced meat rice with crispy chicken chop is the winner because it is loaded with ingredients and has a very good affordable price - only MYR 16.90 nett for ala carte. I didn't order the set meal which includes a beverage.
Besides coffee and cakes, 103 Workshop has a full-sized kitchen serving everything from pastas to burgers.
