Likes: Very much cheaper food compared to KL City Centre's Chinese Restaurants. Spicy meat was one of the better dishes. Dislikes: 30 minutes, and can go up to an hour depending on traffic. Food is just average. Other Info: Heard the original branch is actually more popular. Might recommend to find the other branch instead of this one at Pearl Avenue... Perhaps the quality is different across all branches?

You can choose the type of noodles and I went for Mee Hoon. The soup was very tasty and their Fish Balls were amazingly good. The seafood items were cooked just right and it added to the taste of the broth. Overall a brilliant dish and my rating for this shall be 9/10.

This is a dish that is unique to this restaurant. I have not seen this kind of preparation in any other restaurant. The ribs were large and meaty and the salted egg batter was heavenly. A must try dish at this restaurant. For the portion, I felt that the price was acceptable despite this being much higher than the other dishes that we had this afternoon. Taste wise, I would rate this at 10/10.

Shrimp Chee Cheong Fun (Small) @ RM 6.50 The portion is huge even though we went for the smaller version. I think this is good to feed an average eater. What liked most about their preparation is the freshness of the ingredients. Even the shrimp was so fresh and tasty and the blend of sauces and chilli paste was heavenly. 9/10 shall be my rating for this dish.

I would say this is the best Hong Kong style Chee Cheong Fun in Kajang Town with reasonable price. There is a choice between fresh prawns, Char Siu or a mix of prawns and Char Siu fillings for the Chee Cheong Fun. I ordered a big portion for myself and a small portion for my boy of the mixed fillings type and this order did not disappoint us at all! The Chee Cheong Fun was very silky smooth and fine. They were very generous with the fillings, you may request for extra the sauce and sambal if you crave for heavier and spicier taste.

Not many people have tried this dish but I would boldly say that this is one of the best preparation for this particular dish that I have tasted. Seriously, this was some awesome Spare Ribs Curry. It is so good that I would recommend this over the rest of the dishes that these guys are famous for. 10/10 would be my rating for this.

I ordered two dishes actually and the first one to arrive was the Petai Fried Rice. The aroma of this dish of just amazing and the volume of Petai used was very generous. The price of RM 7.00 for this plate of Fried Rice seemed very reasonable to me looking at the generous ingredients. Totally enjoyed it and this would be something that I would recommend. My rating for this plate of Fried Rice would be 9/10.

With everything considered, Happy Happy’s cheese tarts @ RM3.80/pc would be considered cheap if you compare it with Tokyo Secret‘s (TS) RM7.90/pc. Size wise they are pretty much the same but TS’ cheese tarts are deeper and undeniably filled with more cheese filling. Besides, Happy Happy’s cheese tart feels fragile and crack easily. So you need to be careful or they would break into pieces – even just trying to lift them up from the box.

For first timers, the Gulai Itik Salai (RM7) is highly recommended. A portion comes with 2-3 pieces of duck which should be more than sufficient to enjoy with rice. The duck meat is tender and juicy with a sweet and smoky flavor. It was delicious and tasted unique in a way that I have never had duck that tasted like this before. Because, you know, like duck for me has always been roasted the Chinese way.

The curry itself was so thick and tasty. And a must add here is their homemade signature chili flakes which is added to your taste. I went for a spoonful since I like it spicy. Overall, a very delicious preparation and I would rate this Curry Mee at 8/10.

There was another Chinese Uncle that was selling Satay. In fact, he only does Chicken Satay and we had ordered a few sticks. This however turned out to be good. The meat was lean and the marination was perfect. Their Peanut Dip Sauce was finely ground, mildly sweet and spicy. This preparation was definitely different when compared to the Satay prepared by a Malay operator, nevertheless it was delicious. My rating for this shall be 8/10.
