Unless you want to be fleeced by boat operators, a 90-minute uphill hike is the only other way to get to Pantai Kerachut or better known to tourists as Turtle Beach. Getting there is not hard. I have the exact GPS Location written below. All you need to do is just follow the GPS Coordinate and it will bring you directly to the starting point of the hike up Batu Kawan Hill. So how to know if you have reach the starting point of the hiking place ? You will see the Arulmigu Balathandayuthapani Devasthanam Temple. Beside the temple on the right is where the entrance to start the hiking is.
At the top of Huo Guo Shan, you can see many different types of cute and beautiful sculpture of animal. The environment here is really nice, though it might get a little bit hot as it gets later in the morning but if you are there early, you can enjoy the nice view and scenery, take a sit at their open space platform before descending Huo Guo Shan again.
Hiking is nice and calming, if you wish to see the sunrise, you will need to start hike early in the morning. Do remember to bring a torch light if you hike up early in the morning or late in the evening is there is no street lamp along this route and it will get really dark when the sun set.
