The experience at Mighty Monster was good enough but ultimately forgettable. However, this is one of the few places to get western food at MyTOWN Shopping Centre. MyTOWN is overwhelmingly Asian restaurants and cafes, and I’m just not feeling that kind of food often. The menu at Mighty Monster has enough tempting dishes that we would consider eating here again.
Overall cook noodles and sadly 3 slices of duck meat for real? Im paying RM 26 and I get 3 slices of duck breast meat which not even half of a full size duck breast meat.
Mighty Duck Ramen (RM 28) A hot bowl of ramen comes next where the sous-vide duck breast in peking marinate, 63 degree Celcious egg, goba roots, crispy Chinese broccoli and freshly made Japanese noodles in a miso based broth topped with the wakame salad.
Last visit here was 17.06.2017 was Crave Cafe's "芒果雞柳意大利面 Chicken Mango Carbonara $15" & "印度拿铁 Dirty Chai Latte $14"; that's almost 20 months ago. Re-visiting their Dirty Chai Latte again still the same price and as good as before.

Honey Glazed Roast Chicken (RM 15.00) Let's move on to lunch! The Honey Glazed Roast Chicken (RM 15.00) was one of the favourite dishes among the foodie. The succulent chicken with crispy skin was served on top of mashed potatoes and zucchini, and brown sauce at the side. The chicken was super delicious by itself, but the brown sauce added a hint of savory to the slightly sweet roast chicken.
Personal Summary: Bright and broad environment, suitable for large group and big family. Superfine serves healthy breakfast and lunch, as well as wide variety of beverages - up to craft beer! Friendly and attentive service crew.

Reasons to visit Nyght at Superfine: a diverse menu that fits well together; plenty of both plant-based and meat-loving items; must try the Unthinkable Unagi, Roasted Cauliflower, Pesto Rice Bowl, their house-brewed Kombucha and Tepache.

Take this High Tea Set for instance, enjoy morsels of sweet and savoury items placed over 3-tiers high tea stand, together with a pot of tea at only RM50. Definitely a good value set with no compromise over quality. Available daily from 12PM – 7PM.
The croissant was buttery and flaky. Good to have with butter and jam.
Anyway, a worthy challenger to the Inside Scoop throne, and I want to try their very Malaysian flavours such as kaya toast or Milo dinosaur.
I really like this place, I really do. I would not be surprised if I come here again to try the other flavours provided here.
Verdict: A fun filled place with Instagram worthy desserts! Great ice cream which are handmade with interesting flavours & constantly a learning curve for you to discover!
My Personal Opinion I found most of the dishes had a touch of luxury (we ate with gold cutlery, you know, hehe) but at an affordable price point (bearing in mind that this is in a shopping mall like Pavilion). I was quite happy with the quality of the ingredients based on the prices charged in such an environment. The food was well presented and tasty...and the ambience and service elevated the food experience further.
With their limited menu, they only have 10 food choice with 8 types of beverages. Some of the MUST TRY includes The Calia Wagyu Bowl, Aburi Salmon, Toro Bowl, and more. As for desserts, don’t miss out their Miso Crumble Cheesecake.
For basic people, like me. Honestly my first impression of this was that the portion & presentation is so sad. Would have a more ‘wow’ impression if it was served with a side of greens or something, instead of literally just toast. Happy to inform that it taste better than it looks!
The Cafe "Little Bourke" stands out from its limited exterior seating area with high chair and sofas to its well decorated indoor air-conditioning dining area.
Chicken Parma, 26 ringgit. Literally everyone loves Chicken Parmesan?Parmigiana, right? Well, if you belong to that group of people, then Chicken Parma you’ll love. Yummm cheesy cheesyyy. It came with a meaty piece of chicken breast. The melted cheese was lovely, the chicken was lovely and the combination of both was really tasty. This too comes with a side of chips and salad.
Her absolute favorites were the mains, she single-handedly demolished the duck and lamb and was so delighted to find out they had perfectly sautéed some yummy fresh green beans, carrots and cherry tomatoes just the way we like it, barely seared, crunchy, well-seasoned yumminess. We may or may not have ordered another two more portions, which you can do as long as they have stock.
Reasons to visit Drift Dining and Bar’s Sunday Boozy Brunch: contemporary, relaxed setting; four hours of feasting and sipping; quality compact menu will every item made on the spot and served directly to the table.
There is more to Drift Dining & Bar that meets the eye. Come sunset hour, Drift comes alive and patrons are spoilt with an extensive handpicked wine and cocktail list. Drift also often has wine tastings/events to entertain its patrons and keep the scene interesting. We sampled several items off its a la carte menu as well as from their newly launched Weekend Brunch menu during our visit. They also offer an affordable lunch menu daily, with prices starting from RM19. Every first Sunday of the month, there will be a Boozy Brunch (free flow food and alcohol from 12-4pm) and they also offer Burgers and Beers on the last Sunday of the month, with beer prices starting from RM12 all day.
Chapel Street Cafe的餐单分成早餐,午餐,零食和甜点及小吃
This curious black-painted building in the neighborhood (of Medan Lim Cheng Teik) looks severe, especially with a small signage, the suspense gets stronger. Step in the cafe and you will be enwrapped in a heavy metal room (in shades of black and white) with jail door and red bricks, the industrial vibe here in bold. The two-week old cafe has an average-small menu but given that they are still new, the place is worth a second look. Medan Lim Cheng Teik is a small road off Kelawei Road; from Burmah Road (pass by Gleneagles Hospital) to Kelawei Road, make a left turn to the first junction to your left. Go straight and you will find Chapel Street Cafe right in front of you.
BUCOLIC Cafe & Catering served Italian and Australian cuisine plus is pork free. Most of their ingredient's fresh from farm and home made.
The food is delicious & satisfactory. The service is good. Waiter/waitress will always be around, we order a pot of tea and can easily get our pot refill & request for extra cutlery. All local staff, no language barrier in explaining. Great Ambience - Comfortable and clean dining environment. Excellent music choice too!
Overall, their softserve is really good and they are definitely a place to enjoy your favourite softserve at anytime!
Reasons to visit W Kuala Lumpur’s Bazaar Malam: signature Malay food made with premium ingredients; an extensive and high-quality buffet; an open and cheerful atmosphere with excellent customer care.
Reasons to visit Flock: superb ingredients, sourced from local artisans where possible, treated with respect; this round we loved the scallop ceviche, shellfish soup… actually, it’s too hard to pick just a few, they truly were all expertly prepared – choose the ingredients you love and you can’t go wrong;
Reasons to visit the W Kuala Lumpur Brunch: Quite possibly the hottest brunch in town. A sexy atmosphere with a creative and high-quality international buffet showcasing many local products.
The Big Boss HSP is a must-try for anyone who loves kebab and shawarma wraps. The food is delicious, the ingredients are fresh, and the service is top-notch. So why not head down to Jalan Tun H.S. Lee and give it a try? Your taste buds will thank you for it.
I ordered the veggie burger set which came with a drink (warm, it melted the ice very quickly) and chips (standard fast food style). I also added some cheese bites, which seemed to be balls of cheese and potato mixed with a sour tomato and herb sauce, deep fried. These were uncomfortably close to vomit-scented, if I’m perfectly honest. However, the burger was very good. It had cheese, tomato, and onions in, with a slightly sweet and milky bun, and a thick (150g) veggie protein patty. I’d definitely be keen to have the burger again, just without any sides (plus at RM14.50 alone it’s decent value).
为了吸引更多顾客的光临,The Shed 为每一天搭配了主题和优惠,以下为他们的主题
So head over to The Shed at Straits Quay and enjoy the mouth-watering items and drinks on the menu while enjoying the sea breeze flowing.
Australian Cuisine hasn't had much exposure in Penang but we hope that will change with the opening of The Shed in Straits Quay. The Australian-influenced Pub & Restaurant offers a vast selection of grill meats as well as some Burgers and Pasta. The setup is more of a bistro with a stage behind (live music performances are available on certain days); those who prefer a more outdoorsy ambiance with cold sea breeze could opt to dine-in at the sea-front while those who prefer to sit nearer to the stage could opt for inside. The atmosphere is relaxed and casual, most suitable to chill out with friends/ family over a few helpings of beers and wines (or even better, pair with their meat-focused dishes). Not a bad place for drinks and casual Australian barbecue meat but we thought the food lacked the "x" factor (not that we weren't pleased with the quality, just that the probability of returning is not high). The Shed Aussie Pub & Restaurant can be found right next to Spasso Milano, previous tenant was Weissbrau German Bistro.
There are signs of Macadamia nut cake is also a must try!
The Pork Escalope has a slice of pork bacon inside it with cream cheesy sauce. I could not finish the pork so I took half home for dinner.
Fusilli pasta with tangy avocado dressing with tomatoes, sweet peppers, spinach, rocket, peas, walnuts and feta cheese at MYR 23+ (10% service charge = MYR 25.30 nett). Added a grilled chicken thigh for MYR 6+ (MYR 6.60 nett). Total price is MYR 31.90 nett. Very tasty even without the chicken as I like the combination of spinach, rocket and feta cheese.
Reasons to visit Drift and Flow Bangsar: More of the comfortable fusion cuisine that we have come to expect from Drift Dining. Don’t miss the Dukkah Tiger Prawns, the Spring Chicken, and the Grilled Halloumi.
I had Apple Glazed Salted Pork Belly (RM 38) and it was a meal with such great finesse shown. The pork belly is well seasoned and it was cooked to perfection. There is a desirable balance of fat to meat ration. Carrot puree was smooth and it paired perfectly with the chicken jus to elevate the taste of the pork belly by giving it a slight sweetness. Though the big poached vegetable on top of the pork belly is difficult to cut, but adding a fraction of vegetable to the pork belly gives it some crunchiness and reduced the surfeiting sensation arises the fatty content of the pork belly. Overall, a nicely executed dish.
Our wood-fired Kamehameha! Pizza. Thin and crispy base loaded with baked chicken breast, pineapple and turkey ham meat.
Both pieces of salmon are not big but they are very fresh and tender so at this price, I would be back to eat this dish again despite having to pay cash. Big eaters may still be hungry after having this salmon set lunch.
Their wood-fired Big Bonfire Platter is the way to go (plus it's really a good deal)....with 6 choices of meat/seafood to choose from, you're bound to find something you like. Pair that with a choice of 6 sides and you'll have yourself a truly wonderful meal. But if your eating party is sizeable, best to make reservations ahead of time, lest you end up with al fresco seating which was actually alright except that we had to contend with a smoker (just one) during our meal. But we also got to enjoy 'free' live music from next door (Nicsmann)...hey! ;) On hindsight, we were glad we were seated at the al fresco area coz, when we left, we walked through the restaurant and felt the ventilation could be better inside (I know it's difficult to do when you're fanning the flames of wood-fired cooking....haha) ;D Prices may seem high at first glance but we paid around RM100 per adult for a meal (inclusive of a bottle of red) that fed 4 adults and 3 kids to the brim, so I think that was pretty reasonable. If you're hungry (or greedy) for some succulent charred meat (or seafood), you know where to go when you're in this mall. Bonfire can sure cook up a storm! ^.^
