To be fair, most of the items like soft shell crabs, fish fillet and lobster were average taste. Worst was the serving of king prawns which lacked the freshness i would have expected from a good restaurant.
The Restaurant offers you a culinary journey, tempting and exciting your taste buds with the various dishes prepared by the Chefs. It is The Cliff’s desire to revive the taste and appreciation of authentic Malay recipes and traditional Continental cuisine. These innovative twists can be seen from the appetizers, soups and main dishes, in the presentations, sauces prepared and the chinaware selected. The dessert menu is a treasure trove where you just have to try every single creation.
The drinks are expensive by Langkawi standards so you have to be in a splurging mood. The food was lacklustre, but you don’t come to Kalut Cafe N Bar for the food. This is a place to drink, be lazy on a beanbag, catch a sunset and watch the fire show, which has almost become a Langkawi attraction in its own right. It was such a relaxing vibe being there at Kalut Cafe N Bar (once the music was tolerable and we had a drink in us) that we almost went again the next night to watch the fire show again.
We started the first night with Tequila Sierra Gold at RM 15 (about S$3.00) a shot and even though that's already cheaper than Singapore; our tequila guru (Mr Andy Tay) commented that the volume is also about 35% more with the taller shot glass!
Hidden Beach House 这个地方真的Langkawi 必到之处。不管你是浪漫二人行,还是闺蜜之旅,又或者是family trip,都应该来这里好好的度过一个下午。运气好的话,真的可以看见美爆的日落的。

Guests will never go hungry at Temple Tree Langkawi, thanks to the recently launched Paloh Restaurant and Bar. Aptly named after Perak’s state capital fondly known as “Pa-Lo” in Cantonese, the all-day dining restaurant is located inside the lovingly restored 120-year-old Ipoh House.
