Overall, we enjoyed the Escape Restaurant Dinner Buffet.
We visited One Farrer Hotel Spa for their Christmas Buffet at Escape Restaurant & Lounge previously and now we are back for their Food Street @ One Farrer Hotel & Spa 2018 which we believe the food will be enjoyed by both adults and kids too.

Symmetry is a restaurant and bar nestled in a serene spot within Jalan Kubor.
Chicken Supreme - Pan fried chicken breast paired with asparagus and mash potatoes. The chicken was tender and well seasoned. The mash potatoes was really good, highly recommend to give it a try.
Wow. That was a very long post! I thought the Symmetry menu is crazily extensive, and Iβm sure that everyone would be able to find something that fits their taste profile and preference! Personally, I liked their mains best, because everything seemed to hit the right spots for me, except for that couscous in the lamb!

Day or night, Pluck is a social hole on Club Street Singapore for good food and drinks.
At this casual and unpretentious eatery, itβs all about sharing plates with your closest mates; the menu is categorised by small, medium and larger plates, each one ideal for splitting among friends, allowing them to βpluckβ at the different items they like the look of.
The worst offense, though, is the cooking of the mee. I truly realise I was in trouble when the noodles lift on the chopsticks in a big clump, and in some parts the noodles are actually still stuck and knotted together. The taste is plodding, trudging and other similar words.
Located at the thirst quenching Club Street, Pluck is an extremely understated dining place. The exterior is simple and so is its interior, the theme or rather the lack thereof, provides you with a hint of how down to earth Pluck is.

The ambience here simply sets up the mood for a waffle moment.
The Refinery has great atmosphere β a nice place to recharge the body as well as the spirit.
The best main dish was actually the wild mushroom risotto. Pretty safe flavours. The hambagu steak was promising with its presentation and the thick patty. But the herb taste was too overpowering.

A new Concept Japanese modern Kitchen + Japanese Sake Bar
Overall I have enjoyed the new menu at Boruto. Compared to its previous menu which felt more like omakase dishes catered for individual diner, the new menu feels more communal.
Lastly, we sampled two desserts and by then, we were pretty stuffed. It's not often that I see warabi mochi on the menu but they have it here at Boruto. Made of bracken starch, and coated with kinako powder. It has a wobbly soft-jelly like texture and sweetness from the sauce. Almost like eating water.
Overall, Boruto Singapore impresses with its extensive tapas menu, featuring modern fusion food that is bold in taste, pretty to look at, and showcases the culinary wizardry of the chefs here. The cozy, intimate ambience, and friendly yet professional service is a big draw.

Overall was pretty good with the price offered for two guests.
The Lobby Lounge has also launched a series of Heritage Cocktails crafted in honour of the journey of Sang Nila Utama, The Prince of Palembang, who founded the Kingdom of Singapura in 1299. Each cocktail in this series represents a part of his journey.

Be warned, the restaurant is NOISY. Like really loud, just like its sister outlet, National Kitchen.
Overall, I find that it is a good place for gathering as well as chill out. The ambiance makes alot of difference and you will never feel as if like you are visiting the usual traditional Peranakan Place.
There will be diners with higher spending power who would be willing to fork out more at restaurants such as these, because some of these nostalgic tastes are indeed hard to find.
