A cool casual concept in Joo Chiat where it is great for light bites, oysters and some cocktails for a good unwind session. I like that there is a local touch to the drinks and some of the dishes which strikes a chord for me, especially in a heritage rich district like Joo Chiat.
good coffee, tasty and reasonably priced food as well as friendly service make GRD CTRL a nice neighbourhood cafe.
There was good service by friendly people at Beer Basket. The prices were reasonable. We did not have high expectations of the food and coffee in a beer pub but were pleasantly surprised at Beer Basket Kitchen & Bar in Katong.
The food at Viva Loca are not bad too, whether you are there mainly to eat or to drink. It can be a nice little spot to let your hair down and live the crazy life, for a few hours at least.
