The official opening celebration almost mirrors the same one they had for their first branch in Penang, located in Nagore Square. So, of course, there’s buy one free one!
I had their signature Brown Sugar Deerioca Milk @ RM12.90. The first sip I took when the straw was positioned at the bottom of the cup was wonderful. The intense aroma and sweet rush of the brown sugar was really something. But after you stir the pearls and brown sugar around, the entire drink feels like a slightly sweetened milk – one that you could make yourself at home. Clearly, Cojiitii’s Fresh Milk series are the superior choice and not to mention cheaper too!
In fact, their pearls are what differs them from other milk tea chain.
However as the popular drink here is Royal Cheese, we gave a try to paint our upper lip with the "moustache". Follow their instructions to enjoy the tea, i.e. must not use a straw and drink with the cup slanted 45 degree to your lips. Taste wise, the drink is creamy due to the presence of cheese and not sweet. We felt it has overturned somehow overturned the concept of milk tea as public tend to perceive milk tea as sweet. Royaltea can be considered as a decent alternative to hang out with friends for a cup of tea in fact. Nevertheless, the price did not come cheap, as a cup of Royal Cheese Green Tea cost us RM 13.90.
The place is small here at Royaltea with limited seating place.
