Can't recall the name of this dish, but it's shakshuka. I would recommend this dish to anyone who loves a hearty breakfast. With the warm and toasty eggs and savoury tomato sauce and other ingredients cooked into what seemed like a thick broth, this dish is sure to fill your tummy despite its deceivingly small portion. Use the bread to soak up the awesome eggs and tomato concoction so you don't leave any behind.

From the bottom to top - millet (acting as rice), roasted peanuts, tempeh, cherry tomatoes, slices of cucumber (kyuri), hard boiled egg, assorted salad leaves and a small container of healthy sambal that tastes like sweetish peanut sauce (those satay dips).

It was incredibly flavourful, with a hint of spiciness that tantalizes your taste bud. The fresh and crunchy greens were a great contrast to the soft and chewy texture of the pulled chicken.

Kopenhagen Chick @ RM 28 – a danish classic with poach chicken breast, mushroom, asparagus, and taragon mix secret sauce. This will be my first most expensive sandwich on my order. Chicken is soft and not too bad, yet the secret sauce is quite unique that you will have hint of tumeric and indian spices or curry powder. Personally thing that, it is on the high side for such sandwich.

Known to be a good place for instagram, and coffee of course, I must also compliment the very grammable cups and glasses for the beverages. Vanity aside, Denmark tea is very much a delight with combinations of flowers and leaves that’s soothing and calming. It pairs incredibly well with my tasty slice of carrot cake. Despite my skepticism for carrot cakes, I always end up ordering this whenever and where ever. Deep down, it is probably to convince myself that I would one fine day find the one that would blow me away. But no, I did not find that here. But I wouldn’t hesitate repeating this move at Kopenhagen, because it was good for the price so I have no complains.

We had to restrained ourselves from immediately diving into the Kyushu Wagyu Rib Loin (200g RM268 & 300g RM378) at sight. Drool-worthy at first glance, this Japanese premium wagyu screamed flavour. In fact, the meat tasted buttery and much umami notes of pleasure. So tender from all the marbling, this piece of wagyu is lusciousness in every bite. Price is on the premium side but once you’ve had a taste of this wagyu, you actually might find this worth indulging for…

As the chocolate truffle torte was an elegant torte without being overly rich on the palate and it has a creamy and velvety texture! Plaza Damas, 4 Jalan Sri Hartamas 17 Taman Sri Hartamas 50480 Kuala Lumpur Malaysia

It all started with the love for Food by 3 friends. We started it as a hobby to have a private place to hang out among our selves and friends. We serve our very own favourite food. As time passed the word about our private hang out place gone viral and more and more customers start pouring in. So in 2006 we set up 'Kanteen'. With the continuous support we received, we felt the need to extend our space to offer more room for people to hang out and enjoy the food with their loved ones, we decided to embark on a new container concept with 'Kanteen Plus'. Now Kanteen Plus offers a wide range of choice, from local, western, Malay, Indonesian, together with a wide range of cakes and delicious desserts to wet your appetite. Our speciality includes Curry fish head, steam fish, Thai steam fish and so many more. Lastly, we are glad and happy that our private place to hang out with is now a place for many! So come! Lavender Chocolate Cake with Earl Grey Buttercream, 14.90 ringgit Anyways, when I decided to give this particular cake a go, I was not expecting all the flavors – lavender, chocolate and earl grey to be evident. In a lot of cases, you’d be able to taste some of the flavors but not every single one. So, I kindda went along with that thought pattern but I sure was surprised. First mouth in, I tasted lavender and chocolate and then, while you are biting into it and savoring, the distinct taste of earl grey makes its appearance. I liked it. I especially liked it even more after it has been in room temperature for a while – the buttercream get creamier? Yea, at this point, the Lavender and Earl Grey combination was more prominent. It was da bomb. Having it with the thick, moist chocolate cake was heaven.
