The traditional Malay style prawn fitter - Cucur Udang also get an uplift in Mews. It it served along with tau kuah (bean curd), fish cakes, cucumbers and homemade peanut sauce, which done a wonderful job when glazed upon the various ingredients. Real prawns can be seen vividly upon cutting the crisp prawn fritters, justified its higher price tag should you need some good snacks in between meal.

This is my favourite which is Artisan bread, also the simplest of all. A simple toast with just butter and blueberry jam. The toast is so good that the texture is nice, where the size is also slightly thicker, spread it with butter and bluberry I would go 3 slices of it. One of the problem for travelers or outstation guest that drive will be parking issue as the place here is quite limited in parking space. Price range of this hotel is starting from RM300 onwards.

Well, we choose Kim Haus Spaghetti Aglio Olio Chicken (RM 22.90) and it did not disappoint. Spaghetti noodles were cooked to al-dente and was seasoned nicely with a hint of spiciness, then garnished with olives. We were surprised to see generous quantity of big chicken cutlets were served. It was great but the entire presentation or experience would have been better if the chickens were cut into smaller slices. Overall it was a great spaghetti.

Meanwhile, Full of Junk burger comes with a juicy and succulent beef patty and served along lettuce, tomato, sauteed mushrooms, caramelized onions and tasty cheese. We tried 2 of their cakes - Matcha Cheese (RM 14.90) and Blueberry Cheese Mousse (RM 14.90). These are some great choices we had. The cakes were dense, not too sweet and sleek in terms of texture. Another popular choice here appeared to be their Pavlova, as quite a number of visitors here ordered this sweet dessert.

Tucked away from the bustling Penang Road and Burmah Road, Areca Hotel opened its doors to the public in late 2016. It was previously a row of old, heritage houses right smack in the heart of Georgetown but has since refurbished and turned into this beautiful, colonial-styled building. Taiwanese Beef Noodle – RM20 per bowl, RM25 per set (with coffee). The noodle was served with braised beef and topped with vegetable, pickles and spring onion. The noodles are imported from Taiwan as the locally made noodles are made with lye water. The beef slices were braised in long hours until soft and tender. The taste of the soup was thick and tasty while the overall of the dish was so delicious.

Avocado lovers would be excited to know that Atas Cafe serves Avocado Lime Cheesecake, a piece of creamy creation with a hint of Avocado and nutty crumbs from the Cookie base. Coffee 1911's Platter features a blend of Western and Asian elements, the most distinctive item is of course none other than its home-made Otak-Otak. TEMU's signature Burnt Cheesecake is the best-seller by far and we can understand why. The Cheesecake was addictively creamy with bold cheesy flavor. The accompanying dollop of cream added a nice silky touch to the cake. The burnt flavor was not dominant though.

We did not want something heavy so we had some lighter options- the Sauteed Mushrooms With Bread was delicious... lightly seasoned fresh Button Mushrooms served with a couple pieces of buttered rustic Toasts.
