What do We Like about Kings Hall Cafe? -Kings Hall is spacious and has a lot of seating in different setting -The location is rather quiet, good for a peaceful cup of coffee without big crowd -We like the rice bowl and its pesto paste
Overall, this spot does have its own charm when it comes to café hopping stint in search for awesome treats. With some light chatters with your chum- the day is simply perfect!
We share dessert together, we ordered cendols sizzles (tak ingat harganya), my friends order aglio &olio, sedap! RM20. It have chickens strips, smoked salmon, mixed seafood, sliced button mushroom, cili padi, black olives. If you can read through the menu, nama nama menu tu sangat attractive. Like, I am percik, cheesy gratin-tude, rendang-erous burgor, well- TEMPEred salmon. Kiteorang belek belek menu je dah 20 minits, sebab 'weh nak makan apa ni?' macam tak lapa sangat tapi nak makan tapi not too much, haaa tu la yang jadi lama tu.
Overall, food and price tag okok la. This place do capture a few regular but overall food there are some hit and misses as everyone’s palate is different.
My first impression about this cafe is…..memang cantik ya deko dia. Minimalist but make it look like an expensive cafe gitu. Warna tema yang dorang pilih sangat lah meriah, ada elemen gold. Servis kat sini bagi i memang bagus, daripada i start nak book sampai lah hari kejadian dorang sangat lah membantu dan sporting gila.
Bookmark Coffee - worth returning? Yes – definitely. It is a nice location with comfy ambience to do lunch/dinner or just me-time to chill for some remote working and coffee.
Ever since I came here with my editor, I’ve been a big fan of their smoked duck pandan rice, which is superb and comes in generous portions – and I’ve really missed it after nearly two months in quarantine.
For mains, I went with the house specialty: Pandan Rice with Smoked Duck (RM20). It was very tasty, and I can definitely see myself coming back for a return visit. The smoked duck came in hefty portions and it had great flavour with none of the gaminess. The pandan rice was fragrant and fluffy, and the vegetables helped cut through the heaviness of the meat. Topping it off was a perfectly fried sunny side up.
My original fried chicken meal at MYR 22.90+ (10% service charge = MYR 25.19 nett) and a glass of cold barley tea at MYR 1.90+ (MYR 2.01 nett). I kept 3 quarters of the rice and a little more than half of the crunchy chicken pieces for my family (they are helping me to eat my lunch nowadays) and finished the salad, kimchi and taugeh side dishes. I have two dishes of kimchi because my friend gave me hers. I prefer crispy original fried chicken like this instead of those coated with spicy or sweet thick sauce.
[Pork-free] Located in PJ Midtown, Papercino is a new café that occupies the front of the interior design firm Paperworks Studio.
What do We Like about Dou Remy? -Spacious interior -Good selection of the pastries
Good service by a young team of staff, from finding a table, getting an order to serving, and offering assistance for free glass of water.
The Assam Laksa was da’ bomb. ‘Sedaaappppp’ 😍😍 For reals. Honestly, I was not expecting it to be as good as it was. So, it exceeded my expectations. The laksa broth itself was thick and flavorful, you’d be able to taste the prawn paste. There were plenty of pineapples, onions, cucumber, fish, rice noodles with mint leaves for garnish. I enjoyed it. Yum!
Overall, a pleasant breakfast trip today to start the Monday at PJ Seksyen 13. Artisan Coffee can be found in Section 13 PJ, Bangsar Village II, and Atria Shopping Gallery.
If you are looking a great coffee with warm customer service, here is the place for you. Artisan Roast was operating till midnight, the pricing is pretty standard, you can visit them when you need a cuppa at midnight.
If you are looking for chill weekend to hang out, out from busy area, then this place would be ideal. -= Jeng Jeng Jeng =- Coffee Rating 6.5/10, not bad -Stamped-
The food here really vary. Some are really delicious and their portion is so generous which I would say... certain dishes here worth the price. Will come here again to try on the cake too! Imma sweet tooth!
