Lucky Bo 与传统的牛排餐厅不同,通常这些地方的菜单都很西式风格,尽让主菜搭配些松脆薯条和混合蔬菜,而 Lucky Bo 则让这里的菜单注入东方元素。

We had to restrained ourselves from immediately diving into the Kyushu Wagyu Rib Loin (200g RM268 & 300g RM378) at sight. Drool-worthy at first glance, this Japanese premium wagyu screamed flavour. In fact, the meat tasted buttery and much umami notes of pleasure. So tender from all the marbling, this piece of wagyu is lusciousness in every bite. Price is on the premium side but once you’ve had a taste of this wagyu, you actually might find this worth indulging for…

So, this BEAUTEOUS piece of meat, the Tomahawk, sells for about RM400 for a 1.2-1.3kg slab. This one served to us, which can feed six people more than adequately, is around 1.6kg. Charred to perfection in a Josper Oven, (from Spain), this weapon of choice is superb.

We envisioned this café to be a place where people cross paths and share real connections. What better way to stir conversation and spark inspiration than to create a space filled with new ideas and works of art? Therefore, we house creations ranging from murals to locally-inspired decor for our guests to feast their eyes on – and after, they can feast on some great nosh. Sure, sharing a meal is great. But sharing moments, ideas, stories…that’s greater. Therefore, we welcome you.

If I live or work in the area (they have another smaller outlet in Atria Shopping Gallery), I certainly won't be able to stop at one visit....but alas, I'm so far away. According to their Facebook, we can get a limited range of their products at O'coffee Clubs in KLCC (Kinokuniya), Mont Kiara and The Gardens (Robinsons). To get my fix, I may just have to visit the nearest one to me in KLCC to see what they offer! ;)

Other places where there hold so strict on their timing disappoints me. As diners and maybe small eaters, we would like to have tea set served during lunch hour. Irish Coffee, 18 ringgit. Now, this drink I can recall pretty well. It was yummy 🙂 soooooo yummy! It was thick, creamy, bitter, a tad sweet – all in one. Basically, it was a combination of hot coffee + irish whiskey + sugar + cream. Imagine sipping this blend on a rainy day, soooo nice. Autumn Princess, 16 ringgit. The flavors were different. The oat pancake itself had a distinct taste, rather pleasant. Topped with cinnamon apple. Now, this tasted like apple crumble but without the crumble. Add in the sweet, creamy flavor of Vanilla ice cream. A rather unusual mix but delicious nonetheless. I enjoyed it.

Pure Indulgence, 20 ringgit. If you are looking for something sweet to fill you up, then do give this a try. Pure Indulgence is another crowd favourite and it includes fluffy Belgian Waffles coated with Belgian chocolate sauce + Banana + strawberries + a scoop of ice cream. It was filling but I aint complaining, lol. My ice cream of choice was Chocolate. They had several other flavors like Matcha, Salted Egg, Durian D 24, French Vanilla. The ice creams are a Must Try. Rich and creamy, it was really good. Just a scoop by itself will cost you 7 Ringgit or if you want to indulge like me, have the whole works with waffles via Pure Indulgence. The waffles used are the same as the ones I got in Murakami. Top that waffle with some chocolate sauce and decadent chocolate ice cream? and some banana? Gooood Stuff. Delicious.

Pour Over Coffee – RM27 Although the Pour Over Coffee that was served to us was black and without sugar, it had a slightly fruity taste and a mellow tone. The coffee also had a super strong aroma which is distinctively unique. Despite this we found the coffee to be quite light and easy on the mouth but the caffeine in it was certainly strong enough to keep us awake. The coffee is without a doubt extraordinary and not commonly available in Kuala Lumpur so it is definitely worth a try for coffee lovers. This was real good Soto. One of the best I’ve had in a very long time. If you like this particular dish, the one here is worth a try. The meat broth was flavorful with a touch of saltiness, consistent with Soto in general. The Chicken Bergedil was nicely done. Unlike a lot of restaurants here that likes serving Bergedil that is mostly hard, the one here was surprisingly tender. The inner part was soft and dense, where as the outer layer was solid. It held its shape well even after I’ve broken into it. Besides that, the dish also included rice cubes, nuts, rice noodles, shredded chicken. Overall, a tasty dish.

In all the rush, we kindda forgot to add on the meat while placing our order and when we finally remembered, we decided to forego it anyways due to the lengthy time it took for the dish to arrive at our table. Both dishes ordered were recommended, crowd favorites. The Cordon Bleu was well plated, I liked how it was presented. Tasted good too. The dish consisted of 5 pieces of chicken that was wrapped in cheese. Then, once breaded the ones here are pan fried and then tossed in the oven. I dig the texture, crispy on the outside, chewy and dense on the inside, flavorful too. The chicken was served on a bed of salad, some mushroom, tomatoes, salsa, greens. A tasty dish indeed.

Burrow Bangsar is one of the very few places in KL that put canelés into limelight, other cakes and pastries to keep it company. Their canelés are aged for 48 hors, baked in edible beeswax coated copper mould straight from Bordeaux. There you go, the outcome is crackling, crispy, caramelized crust; custardy, rich within.
