In the evening, we transform into WAGyu, serving the best value wagyu steaks in town. Our steaks are grilled to perfection using our beautiful red Josper charcoal oven. Lucky Bo 与传统的牛排餐厅不同,通常这些地方的菜单都很西式风格,尽让主菜搭配些松脆薯条和混合蔬菜,而 Lucky Bo 则让这里的菜单注入东方元素。

We had to restrained ourselves from immediately diving into the Kyushu Wagyu Rib Loin (200g RM268 & 300g RM378) at sight. Drool-worthy at first glance, this Japanese premium wagyu screamed flavour. In fact, the meat tasted buttery and much umami notes of pleasure. So tender from all the marbling, this piece of wagyu is lusciousness in every bite. Price is on the premium side but once you’ve had a taste of this wagyu, you actually might find this worth indulging for…

So, this BEAUTEOUS piece of meat, the Tomahawk, sells for about RM400 for a 1.2-1.3kg slab. This one served to us, which can feed six people more than adequately, is around 1.6kg. Charred to perfection in a Josper Oven, (from Spain), this weapon of choice is superb.

Spaghetti Teriyaki Beef set lunch which includes a cup of hot tea - MYR 20+ (10% service charge = MYR 22 nett). Close up - can see the thin slices of beef, mushrooms, seaweed, bonito flakes and parsley. Luckily the teriyaki sauce is not very sweet and the pasta is not swimming in sauce. I kept half the portion for dinner as usual.

Crispy Chicken with Creme Sauce, 21 ringgit. This was similar to the creamy pesto sauce dish we’ve had previously. I remember liking that one and was looking for something similar, so I decided to give this dish a go. Pasta and sandwiches were not of interest to me today, so yea. This was delicious. The crispy boneless chicken bits and the creamy sauce complimented each other well. The chicken on its own, would have been pretty dry, however, add on the creamy sauce and you would get a burst of flavors and textures. The creme sauce itself came with spices and a lil milky sweetness, it had an overall tasty flavor to it. It resembled thick butter chicken sauce but totally different in flavor. Overall, a delicious dish. Loved it.

Normally, tea set will only available from 2.30pm to 5pm at other places. Well, here they have it from 12noon but with different serving. Glad that they have the tea served as early as 12 noon. Other places where there hold so strict on their timing disappoints me. As diners and maybe small eaters, we would like to have tea set served during lunch hour. The set served with a decent mixture of small bites such as tarts, sausages, and others.

Irish Coffee, 18 ringgit. Now, this drink I can recall pretty well. It was yummy 🙂 soooooo yummy! It was thick, creamy, bitter, a tad sweet – all in one. Basically, it was a combination of hot coffee + irish whiskey + sugar + cream. Imagine sipping this blend on a rainy day, soooo nice. I visited this cafe at when it was not crowded, I basically had the place to my self, had my laptop on, sipping on this yummy cup of coffee, listening to some soothing music on the audio. I had a good time, a chilled out and relaxed time.

Pour Over Coffee – RM27 Although the Pour Over Coffee that was served to us was black and without sugar, it had a slightly fruity taste and a mellow tone. The coffee also had a super strong aroma which is distinctively unique. Despite this we found the coffee to be quite light and easy on the mouth but the caffeine in it was certainly strong enough to keep us awake. The coffee is without a doubt extraordinary and not commonly available in Kuala Lumpur so it is definitely worth a try for coffee lovers. If you feel a little hungry, feel free to pair the coffee with some of Bistro 160’s finest cakes and pastries.

The cafe’s signature is their grilled chicken chop with coffee sauce. It may sound like an odd combination, but the sauce has a nice coffee aroma to it and a slightly bitter tang which cuts through the creaminess and binds all the flavours together. The thigh meat was tender and juicy, perfect for sopping up the sauce. It also came served with cranberry butter rice, vegetables and a baked potato with sour cream

Autumn Princess, 16 ringgit. The flavors were different. The oat pancake itself had a distinct taste, rather pleasant. Topped with cinnamon apple. PORK RIBS (HALF RM30/ FULL RM56) Sanbanto pork, Kicap Manis Glaze The flesh was tender and juicy, and it was a joy to eat. We adore how the moisture was retained in the flesh, makes detaching the flesh from the bones an easy task. We also especially love the taste with a drizzle of the lime juice. It balances out the sweet caramelized coating of the flesh. Normally ribs can get a little cloying for me due to its high fats content, but I seemed to be enjoying this quite a lot, probably due to its sour-y appetising taste from the lime juice.

Pure Indulgence, 20 ringgit. If you are looking for something sweet to fill you up, then do give this a try. Pure Indulgence is another crowd favourite and it includes fluffy Belgian Waffles coated with Belgian chocolate sauce + Banana + strawberries + a scoop of ice cream. It was filling but I aint complaining, lol. My ice cream of choice was Chocolate. They had several other flavors like Matcha, Salted Egg, Durian D 24, French Vanilla. The ice creams are a Must Try. Rich and creamy, it was really good. Just a scoop by itself will cost you 7 Ringgit or if you want to indulge like me, have the whole works with waffles via Pure Indulgence. The waffles used are the same as the ones I got in Murakami. Top that waffle with some chocolate sauce and decadent chocolate ice cream? and some banana? Gooood Stuff. Delicious.

I thought the chicken wings were marinated in Har Go which is Penang Shrimp Paste but after tasting the wings, it is not Har Go but Har Jiong because the taste is not as strong as the Penang Shrimp Paste. Grilled Cajun Chicken Breast (RM 24) Their all time favorites and one of the best sellers too. Enjoy the tender chicken breast, oven roasted to preserve its juiciness. In all the rush, we kindda forgot to add on the meat while placing our order and when we finally remembered, we decided to forego it anyways due to the lengthy time it took for the dish to arrive at our table.
