The most famous item in the menu is the Wessy Waffle Burger (RM28.90) which comes with a combination of sweet and savoury ingredients, namely beef patties, beef bacons, sunny side egg, lettuce, tomato slices. Lastly, the burger was loaded with peanut butter and jam. One of the key items that Frisson emphasises is that you will be able to taste the quality of their Australian beef patty when you take your first bite into their burger, which is fresh and never frozen. The main flavours of this dish certainly comes from the peanut butter which was thick and creamy but did not overpower the quality of the beef or other ingredients too much.

Though my dining experience here wasn't what I had hoped for (sorry, friend), the food would probably suit some palates....just not mine! For me, the dishes I did try were just so-so...average at best. Maybe I should have ordered their more popular dishes like the Donut Ringmaster Burger @ RM25.90 or the Wessy Waffle Burger @ RM26.90 (pics of dripping cheese, peanut butter and jelly might be a turn on for some, not me). Or maybe they're better at desserts (they offer quite a few) like the P.TripleB French Toast @ RM19.90 with bacon and banana served with rich vanilla custard, peanut butter and honey (just those last 3 words are enough to send me into a diabetic coma!). I wouldn't be able to confirm if they fare better at desserts since I didn't try any. Compounded by the higher than norm prices that weren't matched by the taste, I'm afraid I don't see myself returning (after this maiden visit) as the food just didn't excite my senses enough! Even if I had wanted to return (to try more stuff and give them a second chance), it would be a monumental task to drag my family here since they weren't impressed! :(

At barely a few weeks old, this new dessert parlor have gathered quite a bit of a hype - it was bustling with dessert purveyors, leaving barely any desserts behind - literally. Frankly speaking, with a supposed closing time of 10pm, I was very surprised at the rationing of desserts on display. Nevertheless for me, I got the best of the last, before they sold out and closed, at 5pm. I have to note too, that Mad Hatter Desserts came with a reputation. Spearheaded by MasterChef Asia runner-up, Marcus Low, who is known for his immaculate dessert-making skills, I was exceedingly excited to try out some of his expertly handcrafted desserts. Admittedly also, I'm a fan of the MasterChef franchise and so was my mum - a hopeless addict. Reminder to self: I have to bring my mum here one day.

PORK RIBS (HALF RM30/ FULL RM56) Sanbanto pork, Kicap Manis Glaze The flesh was tender and juicy, and it was a joy to eat. We adore how the moisture was retained in the flesh, makes detaching the flesh from the bones an easy task. We also especially love the taste with a drizzle of the lime juice. It balances out the sweet caramelized coating of the flesh. Normally ribs can get a little cloying for me due to its high fats content, but I seemed to be enjoying this quite a lot, probably due to its sour-y appetising taste from the lime juice.

What is UoVo隱れ? Essentially UoVo means “egg” in Italian and隱れ家 is kakurega in Japanese which means a “hideout“. Pronounced “woh-voh“, we are nestled in the suburbs of Damansara Kim, our focus is on two key things, dining experience and quality of food. Ingredients in our dishes are carefully selected based on pairing and of course, freshness. If possible, we try to get them straight from farms and by doing so, we maintain high-quality food at affordable prices. We believe our free range chicken teppan is absolutely delicious and our wagyu course menu is also amazing. Don’t forget to also try our desserts such as our meringue platter and our Chocolate Affogato H2o is to die for. Teppanyaki culinary are freshly prepared to enhance it’s natural flavours & nutrition are seared in. All of our food is cooked to order. That takes a bit of time as we show your dish the love it deserves. Our meat is best paired with wine, so bring your own wine and enjoy the night as we don’t charge any corkage fees.

Their service is slightly slow - perhaps they are still new. Nevertheless, when they attend to us, they try their very best. Their staffs are very nice and helpful people. As for their food, I'm not keen with their savoury food as I find it a little too boring and it's way too expensive. It's a little way too expensive and we were only given IKEA's plates... Nothing wrong with that, just feel that the price of the food does not match with the plates - at least provide better quality plates or set the price lower. I personally find that they need to refine their menu otherwise it will not attract people to return for the second time. Nevertheless, I love their dessert menu and hope they turn into a dessert bar or something. All their desserts are so good it makes you want to have everything!

Curry Noodle, 8.90 ringgit. Their Curry Mee was nice, yummy. i love thick ‘curry’ and the one here was pretty good. It was not overloaded with santan and the flavoring of the curry shined. There was some heat, some spice – the right amount to allow you a taste of those much welcomed flavors but not overwhelming in a way that makes you sweat – get what I mean? Not that I do not enjoy a good sweat but not at nightlah. There was those soggy tauhu that I liked, about 4 of them, yay! Just having them tauhu in your mouth and as soon as you bite down on them and the soup just burst out of them – yummmmm! The chicken was the shredded version – steamed chicken sreadded into smaller pieces? Yup those ones, they were soft, juicy and meaty, a good addition.

Filtered coffee , as Wikipedia explains it , is a method of brewing coffee which involves pouring water over roasted , ground coffee beans contained in a filter , creating the beverage called coffee . It is also called drip brewing or pour-over . But don’t worry , Philtre Coffee has milked coffees too if you must have them . Today I had the chance to witness how Cold brew been created , From the top with Ice cube melt into ice water then drip over roasted grind coffee powder for 7 hours of melting ice resulting in 3L of intense-flavored cold brew coffee .

After arriving at this place, I can confirm that this place had definitely lived up to my expectation, stunning mural adorning the entire wall inside the premise, a touch of opulence with the use of gold hardware and an ostensibly industrial vibe with the wide folding door, it was absolutely modern and chic. But I'd say I am not the biggest fan of the overall layout of this place. Located just on the lower ground of the newly opened mall, Makamakan by Jibby is incredibly difficult to locate all due to its unstrategic location (i.e. at the end of the stretch of the row of restaurants which by the way has no access from the inside of the mall). The outlet gives me the impression that they emphasizes more on al fresco dining than indoor dining judging from the small space and the limited dining table indoor and abundance of tables outside. While it is a pretty sight to look at while sitting outdoor, I always think it's not the most practical setting given the blazing heat that's bestowed on us on a fairly frequent basis.

The Japanese Curry Chicken Bread was my favorite. The bun was soft and fluffy, it had a slightly sweetish taste to it. The filling was curry chicken but with a dryer texture and bits of chicken pieces scattered.
