Moving next, we had the Christmas-on-Fire Spaghetti with Turkey Meatballs (RM32). The meatballs are made from turkey and then it is then fried till crispy perfection and topped together with the freid garlic and chily. The al-dente pasta paired with the boucy juicy meatballs were just good and whats more with the kick of spiciness that comes with it.
One of our favorite dishes from their festive menu is the Tom Ka Rice with Sun-Dried Beef Strip and Som Tam (RM36). The beef strips are first marinated, hung out to air-dry, then deep fried and is served with a tangy, spicy tomato jaew sauce. It's like beef jerky but meatier, slightly chewy and absolutely delicious. This also comes with a green papaya salad (som tam) and aromatic Thai-style galangal rice pilaf cooked in coconut milk.
Greyhound Famous Fried Chicken Wings RM18 Greyhound Famous Fried Chicken Wings , one of our favourite Thai street snacks. Thai chicken wings appear to be drier and smaller in size but it is amazingly good with the extra crispy, golden brown outer layer laced with umami-ness of fish sauce, and tender meat locked with juiciness.
The premium black forest cake is filled with cherries soaked in syrup and the normal price is about MYR 11++ I believe so it is very tasty
We had the Bamboo Charcoal, which is our favorite flavour here. Delicious layers of luscious cream and crepe. YUM! All cakes here are priced at RM13.90 per slice.
Well, for just MYR 13.90 nett for 2 slices of Milli Crepe cakes, I am not complaining but I will not be buying again because I am going back on track and avoiding Milli Crepe because of the calories.
Siu Yuk stirfried with vege at MYR 17+ (6% sst = MYR 18.02 nett).
Chocolate ice cream topped with bits of bacon and a drizzle of Baileys - MYR 15 nett at Thai Hou Sek, Midvalley Mall but it is no longer on the menu because they revamped their menu recently.
Roasted Pork Belly Petai Stir Fried Bihun at MYR 20.75+ (6% SST = MYR 22 nett). Very flavourful dish. I like the petai. Portion is not enough for a big eater I believe.
One of our favourites is their stick churros. The stick churros come with variety of flavours where you can coat them with Cinnamon, chocolate of cheese
There is a new kiosk replacing the llao llao kiosk at the food court at Aeon Supermarket, Midvalley Mall. This Street Churros is a franchise originating from South Korea whereas churro is a deep fried traditional snack in Spain and Portugal.
Chocolate and cheese lovers, dessert lovers.... don't miss out the chance to indulge yourself with your favourite dessert!
Coffee lovers can now enjoy an aromatic cup of coffee in our modern industrial interior with a new menu introduction for this outlet. There is few additional items introduction that cannot be missed, such as Nitro Cold Brew Coffee, Bene Pastries and other sweet dessert choices.
Prawn fried rice set lunch at MYR 17.80++ (MYR 20.65 nett) which includes a cup of hot lemon tea and a bowl of soup with no ingredients in it. Taste acceptable with 4 prawns in the fried rice.
Instant noodles with pork chop at MYR 13.80++ (MYR 16 nett). I like the instant noodles as always and the pork chop is thick and tender so I will order this dish again.
Ordered 1 polo bao to try at MYR 2.95++ (10% service charge, 6% SST = MYR 3.42 nett). Sweet crusty bun with a soft inside.
Rage 2.0 makes an ideal pit stop in between shopping or a nice catch-up with the girlfriends over lunch and coffee.
Matcha Gula Melaka - RM10.00 I was told this is 'must try' drink Rage Coffee speciality here, Matcha Gula Melaka. Yes, indeed it is special. The Matcha flavour is strong, refreshing with a milky blend of either soy, coconut or oat milk. I can taste the amazing sweetness of Gula Melaka and love the bits of garnished macerated coconut. This is a thick creamy and cooling antioxidant-rich drink which is indeed a must for Matcha and gula Melaka die-hards. This drink can be served either hot or cold.
The Main highlight here is The Cendol Kampung Hulu, The cendol here really good and different from the normal cendol instead of using normal shaved ice and they use shaved iced coconut milk, The shaved ice coconut milk gives the cendol a very soft velvety rich texture almost like coconut ice cream.
Chicken Bacon Cheese Special - Ala Carte at MYR 13 and Combo Set (with either Tea or Americano Coffee) at MYR 16 which is adding MYR 3 to the Ala Carte price. Now only I know that there is Chicken Bacon. I thought Bacon needs to be made from a specific type of meat.
