This was proper Hainanese porridge, with a grainy texture, well flavoured and savoury porky porridge, and fairly generous, fresh, tender and well marinated pork balls and sliced pork in the porridge. Very nice.

Honestly, I will still prefer the latter and Sing Heng Kee in terms of the old school taste if we were to compare among their pork porridge.
