Poached Hor Fun with Fish. – RM7/- This dish is very similar to the Hong Kong Chee Cheong Fun found in all Tim Sum Place, Basically Hor Fun and Fish Slices poached and topped with soya sauce. Quite enjoyable by itself
Basically food is self serve, with on occasion visitation by a server carrying a tray of a single type of Tim Sum. What available here are similar in terms of verity and taste with HQ, however with subtle difference.
Braised Duck Meat, believe the duck meat must be braised for long as it fully absorb the sauce flavor and the bone easily fall of from bone, it is so soft and delicious.

I have heard of this "Brand" of Nasi Lemak before, as reputed as on of the best around, at the Island and around Island Glades. So out of curiosity I tried a packet and I was hook, Flavorful, Fragrant and with a punch, with quality it comes with it price which is 50% higher then the standard around here.
Well I was right, I had the Chicken Chop, RM10/-, it came will all the usual trimmings French fries, Mix vegetable. Verdict : Excellent, We will be back for more, we only wish they are open at night, as I am usually not in the area during lunch time.
Special推介,和朋友叫了TomYam后,一定要多一碗/一条的油条,叫老板另外放,之后浸泡TomYam五秒后吃,哇靠!! 那个味道真的很赞,又带点脆脆的!!
Their one dish wonder is Siew Yoke Koey Teow, which can be serve with soup or dry style, today we had just the Koey Teow Soup biasa, with out any add on or frills. You can have roast pork (siew yoke) added on or on the side.
To have some unusual wantan mee, drop by at Beng Soon Kopi Tiam, not too far away from KFC Raja Uda, Butterworth. Also know as Drawer Wantan Mee by off timers, the wantan mee is unusual as its thicker therefor more chewie and springy, more like eating the thick flat wantan noodles or the thick noodles use for KL style Hokkien Mee.
At Beng Seong the version of Nasi Lemak sold here, is the Chinese / Nonya Version, which is typically less sweet, and comes with Sambal Mince Dry Shrimp, there is also a verity of Dishes are available for you to customize your meal (Breakfast), for a more balance, healthier or unhealthier version, to your wish for the day.
Well the Hokkien Mee is comparable, where you eat will depends on what you want ...... the CKT here is ok, the Nasi Lemak looks tempting, and the Chai Kuey not bad. Good recommendations
Overall Verdict : Food is decent, good verity available, Street parking available behind the shop
this place is good for those who like to snap photo!!
