LEONG'S TRADITIONAL SWEET DESSERT's Tong Shui is true gem, really delicious. The sweet soup is thick and full-of-flavour, giving a rich taste for the desserts. And also it's not too sweet, just perfects to my liking!
The Nasi Lemak with Chicken Rendang was delicious. I especially loved the chicken rendang. The chicken was soft and chewy, coated with a a good dose of rendang sambal that is a tad spicy with plenty of flavor. This dish as a whole was delicious and filling.

French Daisy - RM22. It served with toast, smoked duck and banana. Absolutely, the taste is quite sweet and prefect to bite slowly. It makes me enjoyed to bite this dessert. Thus, we just try it once time. Importantly, we enjoy to eat and have a wonderful time to chat chit in the cozy environment.

You need to enjoy it as soon as it is served, otherwise the bakery will settle down rather quickly. After all, it’s soufflé- an egg-based dish that made with mainly beaten egg whites!

Vanilla Souffle is as light as a cloud and undeniably delicious. It will be served with a choice of sorbet and syrup. We choose to go with their Osmamthus Maple and Honeydew Calamansi Sobret. They have 3 choices of syrup: Osmamthus maple, Salted Caramel, Orange and 2 choices of Sorbet: Grapefruit and Honeydew Calamansi.
My personal favourite is Miso (RM17), which is only available on Sundays. The cake is made with layers of miso caramel cream, miso crème brulee, white chocolate mousse, almond sponge and chocolate sable Breton. The miso lends the dessert a slight saltiness, so the sweetness is not overpowering.
The desserts here in Tanuki by Crustz are pretty decent and super Instagrammable. Even though the price for each dessert is relatively high but the quality of the dessert indeed assured! Even my hubby, who is not a very huge fan of dessert, has surprisingly approved!

And plated desserts has upped their games nowadays. These pretty & amazing desserts, most being hybrid, have been trending on social media – And Butterfly Dessert Cafe is one of them.
Hhmmm, too much white cream and too little cake so it disappeared very quickly into my tummy. Then green pandan layer is not jelly-like but the cake is light so after eating it, I felt like I haven't eaten any cake.
Hot tofufa with ginkgo, red beans and yam at MYR 10.80 nett. Very tasty, the tofufa is silkily smooth. This is my favourite dessert in this eatery.

Normally, tea set will only available from 2.30pm to 5pm at other places. Well, here they have it from 12noon but with different serving. Glad that they have the tea served as early as 12 noon. Other places where there hold so strict on their timing disappoints me. As diners and maybe small eaters, we would like to have tea set served during lunch hour. The set served with a decent mixture of small bites such as tarts, sausages, and others.

This cafe looks very cosy but the menu is rather limited, most of the desserts sold are dango and mochi, served in a presentable way and at quite a high price of at least RM 20 and above.

In short, the price for each item is reasonable (range RM 6 to RM 18) for patisseries. You may opt for "Harney & Son's" tea or carbonated drinks if you dislike coffee. Warm service by the cashier. Environment is clean and comfortable.

The Tiny Temptress opened their doors on 2013, and recently they have launched another new outlet at Bangsar Telawi to cater their lovely desserts to more people. This would be the ideal place for you if you are into French pastries and cakes, their coffee are amazingly irresistible too!
Chicken Rendang Spaghetti, 16 ringgit. I asked them what were their most popular dishes and I was recommended this dish, in addition to their chicken chop – which I also tried. This dish right here was truly the bomb. You literally can taste the rendang flavor every mouthful you’d have. I initially thought that with the rendang, the spaghetti would most probably be somewhat wet? but that was not the case here, the spaghetti here was more of the dryer version. So, imagine dry spaghetti with plenty of rendang paste and tender chicken bits – da bomb! It was really delicious. Totally worth giving it a try.
Overall, this cafe standout the most in my opinion in terms of their coffee, food and dessert. They have a better good all around food and beverage than any other competitors along the road.
Verdict: Price definitely not cheap for ice cream (think of the price of McD’s similar product >_<) but the variety of toppings and the novelty serving idea make it worth the price paid.
Decent Tong Sui and Snacks. Beancurd Gingko Barley (RM 7) is okay, but I prefer more texture rather than blended. Onde onde and Sticky Rice are acceptable.
