I can see us coming back to Kita Coffee. We very much enjoyed our rollcake, and there are interesting options for tea lattes other than the standard matcha. The only negative thing about this cafe is the vibe. There’s no shortage of coffee shops in Bukit Bintang with beautiful ambience. Sitting in a darkened room in a mall’s service corridor isn’t appealing, no matter what the weather is like outside.
Bamboo Charcoal & Matcha Roll It was recommended for someone who really adores matcha nuance. Strong but not overpowering notes all lies within the soft, pillowy black roll.

The Ice Chocolate with Coconut Milk is apparently a crowd favorite, hence why I decided to give it a try. It was something different. With every sip you’d taste, the taste of chocolate will hit you first. then the taste of coconut and it ends with the taste of slight bitterness from the small bits of dark chocolate scattered around. If you are the kind of person who liked your chocolate drink thick, you most probably would not enjoy this drink as much as due to the use of coconut milk, it is just a tad lighter, waterier than the usual. However, if you fancy a chocolate drink with a twist, do consider this combination. It is different, refreshing and makes for a good drink to quench your thirst. It was not too sweet, it had just the right amount. I most probably would still stick to the regular chocolate with cows milk but if I fancy something a lil different – I’d go for this.
Love their range of flavors as they continuously produce some unique flavors to entice your taste bud. Flavors such as Salmon & wasabi, chilli ginger Lemongrass, Baileys, Rum & Raisins, New York Cheesecake and many others. Tiramisu is a bomb too.
It was at the height of the macaron craze, when we had our first taste of the world-renowned Laduree macarons in Paris. We fell in love with both the salted caramel and rose flavour, and have been lusting after them ever since. Fast forward to four years later, Laduree has finally arrived in Malaysia. They recently opened their doors at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, bringing sweet treats and delicious desserts to our shores.

I have eaten a few macarons in KL but always find them to be too sweet so I do not understand why they are so popular. Then I read that the best macarons are made by Laduree in France so I told myself that if I ever visit Paris again, I am going to try the macarons at Laduree. Near the end of November this year, Laduree is finally available in KL at the Pavilion Mall so I do not need to fly to Paris to taste their macarons.
整体上食物方面没有很大的惊喜,不过价钱不是很贵而且服务非常好,加上他们的甜点看起来好像不错,下次还有机会来的话会试看甜点。

If you’re craving Korean bingsu, Sulbing KL is worth checking out. As for us – we only stick to injeolmi bingsu, we find the one at Snow is pretty good at half the price. Also, we recommend Ben Gong’s milk tea bingsu for a strong tea taste with a similar snow-like texture.
The first recommended dish was the Egg Mayo with Truffle Oil Sandwich. I was a little apprehensive at first when ordering this dish because how much more spectacular can a simple egg mayo sandwich be, right? I’ve tried plenty and how different could this be? Upon trying though, I can see why this particular sandwich is popular. It was very good, delicious. It isn’t your regular ol’ sandwich, nope. It is a Tomago Sando, Japanese egg sandwich. Oooo man, very tasty. The egg and mayo combination had a texture that is smooth and buttery-like and with each bite, you’d be able to taste the truffle oil. Just thinking about it now makes me salivate. Yummm.
Hoji Cinnamon Latte Ginger Syrup (RM16.90) 味道更为醇厚的烘茶拿铁少了一般的涩味,添加鲜奶油后淋上浓稠的姜糖,香气顿时提升,再撒上浓郁无比的肉桂粉,叫我为之心醉,被一杯烘茶拿铁灌醉。
What is interesting about this cake is there are two layers of cheese. That’s why they called it double cheese cake. The top layer of the cake is non-baked cheese while the bottom layer of the cake is baked cheese. The texture of the top layer is soft like ‘tofu’ similar to Uncle Tetsu style of cheese cake while the bottom layer is strong with cheese flavour. We find the cheese cake taste is just right, soft and the really addictive.
