We were at MidValley Mall over the weekend and stumbled upon B.O.D (Baos on Demand). We saw a queue – so naturally, we FOMO-ed. We bought the KongFu Bao (RM15.90 for six) and Mini Char Siu Bao (RM4.75 for three). Although small in size, the filling was substantial vs. the regular sized ones you get at your kopitiams. You know right – sometimes the baos are huge, but it’s mostly air inside (#airheadbao), or there’s too much flour (#flourbao).
The bao that looks like a potato is a red bean bao whereas the mushroom bao is a lotus paste bao. Both baos in the top row have the same fillings which is bbq chicken.
