The chilli was potent, garlicky and fragrant, lifting the slightly dry, mildly fragrant and unoily rice. The chicken was okay, slightly tough and insufficiently oily, although tasty. Old school place. with an old school taste, and a regular stream of regulars.
For Alex, Hainanese Delicacy ticks all 3 boxes – their rice is fantastic, their chicken is extremely tender and their chilli is on the spicier side – simply out-of-this-world!
