We believe Table & Apron’s enduring qualities will ensure its longevity in the KL dining scene. After almost ten years, the food remains impeccable, and the service is still as enthusiastic and earnest as ever.
I'm stoked to savour my favourite Ulam Rice (RM38) from Table & Apron (T&A) restaurant after a 2-year hiatus.
While their specials and a la carte menu may see exciting options during holidays, the set menu has classic favorites. You can eat like a king, delighting over the unique combinations. Each set comes with spicy ginger tea and a choice of a delicious daily soup or salad. Only available Tuesday to Friday at lunchtime, show up early and dig in! In particular, the soft bone pork stew is a favorite. Served with garlic rice, glazed carrots, and a soy sauce egg it’s a sensory delight. Just…where to begin on this delectable dish?!
Reasons to visit: old world charm; lovely green views; relaxed yet elegant setting; possibly the best afternoon tea in the Cameron Highlands. Afternoon Tea is served from 3pm to 6pm daily at a price of RM45 per person, or RM80 when dining at two.
This is a real great place for an authentic afternoon to have in British way. Fresh air, peaceful environment, comfortable couch and soothing background music. Perfect!

The menu had a bit of everything, from traditional Malay cooking to afternoon scones. A bit of Italian pasta in the mix as well. So, we had some rice. They were way better than expected. As Anita and my Mum visited the garden, I went around exploring the restaurant. The had a small area for music in the evening, overlooking the valley. I was sure the panorama in the evenings would be spectacular. Added that to the cool mountain air, we should have a clear winner.

We also ordered their English cream tea for two (RM 38)…which came with scones, clotted cream, jam and a selection of cakes and pies. The highlight was the orange cake, the pie and the other cakes were forgettable and the scones weren’t the best.
Overall, we enjoyed our dinner here at Ginger. The service here was excellent and we thought the premise was tastefully done. We recommend Ginger as a good spot for a casual meal with friends and family.
BLVD Signature Bean-Can Roasted Chicken (RM 88) MUST HAVE ! Flaming Roasted Chicken in front of you. The moist and juicy chicken meat served with the baked beans, grilled sweet corn and coleslaw. Every mouthful just perfectly delicious and appetizing making it one of my favorites of the night.
Baked Salmon Parcel (RM99) Painfully expensive for the small piece of salmon I was getting. Other than the staggeringly high price tag, I have no other complaints for this dish. The marinara sauce was fantastic, the harmonious blend of appetising taste from the tomato sauce and the generous amount of garlic, crushed red pepper, and basil to enhance the flavour, I couldn't bring my mouth to a halt right after the first bite. The soft and mushy was the perfect sides to savour every bit of the sauce too!
Stylish atmosphere and it would be a great place for a group to celebrate an occasion. It was undeniable that the interior is attentively furnished.
Yeolde Chicken @ RM23.99
