Coming to “Eggs” choices. There are five to pick from the latest menu but recommendation wise, it is difficult because all are lovely. It depends if you love to have it in poached eggs, scrambled eggs or omelette. We personally enjoyed Single Poached Egg, Ratatouille, Fresh Basil, Parmesan on Sourdough Toast (RM20), as well as Sauteed Tiger Prawns, Two Onsen Style Poached Eggs in Glass with Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Mixed Cress, Multigrain Bread Stick (RM30) – a dish that has got us impressed since our first visit, and still equally delicious till today. Must-try.

The charred exterior of the steak had always been that enchanting, so good that it got engraved in the mind vividly after the maiden visit.

Overall, i think this is a good option for special occasion, comfortable and spacious environment. According to Huck, the day we went was a quiet day as people go holiday during public holiday. So, can’t vouch for how noisy it may be on a busy night.

The Brasserie, a modern European café experience during the day, offers the most scrumptious in Western breakfast dishes, from the perfect croissants to the decadent Eggs Benedict. Lunchtime menus are elevated to a fine-dining experience with the eclectic variety of dishes composed of seafood platters, salads, and plats du jour. The Brasserie, at dinner, transitions to a contemporary space offering French-Mediterranean fare with delicious sharing-style Western dishes, in a sophisticated fine dining atmosphere. One of the few authentic French restaurants in Kuala Lumpur, dishes at The Brasserie exude the European standard of quality ingredients and culinary originality. Styled in a sophisticated charm and timelessness, The Brasserie's pressed tin ceilings pay homage to Malaysia's rich origins as a tin mining state. An exclusive private room at The Brasserie can be reserved for an intimate fine dining experience at The St. Regis Kuala Lumpur.

For starters, we had the Crispy Calamari (RM68.00) - and this was a great choice to kickstart our meal. It was appetizing on the verge of addictive, with a nice and chewy crunch to it. At the side, squid ink aioli.

While I would not rate The Brasserie as just a 2, they do not deserve a solid 3 either due to the sauce of the tuna and definitely the dessert which was a real flop in my opinion.
