Very good service offered when ordering food and another positive experience of Filipino cuisines!
Mongo Gusaido – Oh😱 this is really special! Had you ever eat green pea and bitter gourd braised in pork soup! Speechless. Its very delicious! Filipino people will eat this dish every Friday. They believe that eating this dish, you had completed your Friday. It sound like a closing day dish😅
Where I live (KL, Malaysia), Filipino food is rare – which is a shame, seeing that they have some amazing cuisine. I was pleasantly surprised to find a restaurant in Setiawalk, Puchong that serves Pinoy dishes, and the call of ‘Jollibee Spaghetti’ enticed me in for lunch.
Since it was a midnight treat and we don’t feel like having additional carbs intake, thus, a plate of “Crispy Pata” RM38.00 featuring deep fried pig trotters or knuckles served with a soy-vinegar dip. We called this dish the “Filipino Pork Knuckle Chips”, skin is golden crispy and the meat is succulent juicy, feels exactly like having Chinese Roast Pork (烧肉), the sauce is a real game changer – for making it more flavourful while enhancing the overall taste.
