There are 3 kinds of High-Tea set, Patisserie, Desserts, and Savoury Selection. Since we decide to have our dinner in a while soon, that's why we decide to just order a small high-tea set. Overall taste was not too bad, I especially love the escargot which is so yummy without any stinky taste at all. My first time eat it as well! Chicken Rendang with Rice, 15 ringgit. Once we were done with the waffle, as we were both still hungry, we decided to order a rice bowl for early dinner. Yummy 🙂 I like that the rice was real soft and moist, once you mixed everything up – it literally becomes one pile of gooeyness. The chicken came in generous portion, nice chewy cubes of meat. I usually like my gravy packed with flavors and spices, the gravy here was a tad milder than what I am used to but it was yummy nonetheless. They also included some steamed carrots and couliflowers which was an awesome addition to the dish. It gave the dish some crunch amidst the gooey.

The Banana Leaf Waffle (RM25) was served with a big vade waffle, sprinkled with balsamic rice vinegar crackers and curry leaves. On the side it came with tomato chutney, coconut ice cream, mango jelly with chilli, mango curry chantilly, all served on top of an actual banana leaf. The texture of the waffle was dense yet refined, very yummy. Regardless which accompaniments you chose, every bite was bursting with flavour that you could possibly think of when having Indian food, from vade, to chapati, to tosai. Our favourite was the mint chutney and yogurt (tiryu), as both had a taste reminiscent of the real pudina chutney and that you could find when eating roti naan.

Brasserie Gavroche has an amazing European ambiance and provides impeccable service to their guests. The dishes served are rustic styled with that fine French finish. An appealing choice for a romantic date or dinner. I will definitely be back to indulge in more of their signature dishes.

Some hits and misses - I will not order Jamon Sampler and Foie Gras again. The rest of the items are alright for a second try. An additional note - the service is very friendly and we enjoyed the server's short conversations with us. Thank you for the hospitality!

[Main]- Australian grass-fed rib eye steak au poivre (280-300gms) (RM 120.00) An Australian grass-fed rib eye steak with roasted celeriac cream, buttered kale. To me, this dish is just "so-so", no Wow factor. Maybe an aged Wagyu can impress me. The size is just right for two pax, but if you are a bodybuilder, the portion is awesome for your gains.

Very satisfying meal! We tried both sweet and salty crepe, and both were so good! I like the mushroom with pork crepe, with an egg on top, the crepe was a crispy type, made it a super good taste!
