One of Penangās famous attractions, Entopia Butterfly Farm has announced its closure as of 1st June 2021.
Entopia is the new name for the Penang Butterfly Farm, and it has a bit more than just butterflies and moths these days. Itās split into an āoutdoorā section, Natureland, and an indoor learning zone called Cocoon. Natureland starts with a ācaveā with snakes, scorpions, and spiders, which is a bold move and may have driven off a few visitors! I didnāt realise at the time, but it seems youāre allowed to handle the scorpions if youāre a masochist.

It is located at Teluk Bahang, which is approximately 45-minute drive away from George Town, Penang. So come visit Entopia when you travel to Penang!
Today, the garden has over 10,000 species of plants. The garden is divided into 12 sections, each featuring different types of plants and terrains. If youāre feeling adventurous, there are also multiple jungle tracks within the garden. The entire park has nicely paved trails, interesting bridges and seating areas.
